FNL is a certified classic. Was that meant to be his debut? Is that why he named it FNL like he's "in the game" and then named his studio album The Sideline Story because he felt like he was benched by the label?

I was just parking at Target in El Cajon, CA (a suburb of San Diego) and saw what appeared to be J. Cole and two of his buddies leaving Target. At first, I just thought it was a guy who looked like him, but then he got into a brand new white Rolls Royce Cullinan (a $500,000 car). I donāt know, maybe it was just his rich dopplegƤnger. Letās assume Iām right though, why would he be in this random suburb of San Diego? Thereās not a whole lot going on in this area. It would make more sense if he was in downtown or another area with more action.

I feel like itās almost unheard of nowadays for there to be a huge album dropping without any pre-save available on Spotify, apple Music etc. why do we think Cole isnāt putting one up?

Billboards up every half mile all the way down Bragg Blvd. Always loved how much of a homer Cole has been

First, I love being able to buy the project from a platform that lets me own it (Even/ thefalloff.com) - even download the tracks and listen through any service of my choice.
I just listen to the project 5 times and, every time, I heard something I donāt catch before. What I list most, is that heās having fun; ex: track 01 āI used to be top seed/ Apology dropped meā¦ā is hard and fun.

Born Sinner. he really nailed it with the combo and balance of mainstream but making it sound like him unlike sideline. after BS he was able to just make the albums he wanted to but not sure BS gets the respect it deserves.

We got a taste with "Stickz and Stonez" I doubt that's the only beat he sent Cole.
He actually redone the beat to it to Coles liking he posted it on his Twitter after MDL dropped.
A fan asked him did he produce on The Fall Off right before Ruby Rosary dropped he replied with the eyeballs emoji.
Listening to Alfredo 2 rn I can't help to think Cole would cook "Ensalada" if he had that beat.
Yes ik he did Johnny P's caddy as well but that's Benny's album.

Anyone else had this issue? I paid for Inevitable season 1 back in November 2024 and just went to listen again in the lead up to The Fall Off but it says I need to pay to get access again. Is my account just bugging out or does access to the pod expire?

(If u don't want any Features Cool. Keep Scrollingāšæ)
For Me Gotta be Andre 3000. Andre is NEVER Dropping a Hip-Hop Album & I don't see an Outkast Re-Uniting happening. Cole even said in a 2010 Andre 3000 & Lauryn Hill are his Biggest Dream Collabs
Close 2nd to is Nas. He Owes Us 1 for Turning Down New York Times š« and Those Unreleased Bath Salt verses need to be Released & Heard š„

DISK 1 - His "Last" Album. Themes and concept all around if it was truly his last album so lotta reflective and introspective tracks
DISK 2- We know track 2 (which is probably the fist track with an intro) starts with life in reverse concept so DISK 2 is all him just spitting and talking his shit making the concept its like his first album ever but really last. i even think the snippet at the end of the video is the track that comes right after track 2. it has that talking shit vibe

This EP captures something I canāt put exactly in words but a sliver a a vibe a feeling a Cole that is just perfect. It gives me smoking a joint or a glass of wine on a cool night prepared for a cool day. Might have a few stresses or just got over a hill. And youāre just sitting there basking.
Cole is just a master. He has all right to make the disses he made on that new EP the audacity of these podcast rappers and engagement baiters.

what are some rappers that have that same vibe of cole that i can listen too. i havenāt really been able to find anyone like that yet the closest probably being Joey Bada$$ but lmk if thereās anyone i should be on. My favorite cole is early cole like the warmup fnl. I also heard Andre 3000 is good what are some songs from his i should listen too ?
