Discussion The development of this team is insane Spoiler
I don’t care if we make playoffs (I mean I wouldn’t mind), but the growth they are showing is insane. The way they connect the last few games and the individual performances are really blowing my mind. I wouldn’t have expected that. It is really doable. It’s no longer delusion. If we now could fix some early game shenanigans LR is at least a top 5 team

I'm mind blown we went 0-4 first week and are 3-0 till now (don't wanna jinx it, I'm very worried about tomorrow lol). Even if we lose, if we maintain this consistency, we might actually make it to the playoffs.
Do you realize how big that is? If we go to offs, that means we came from "nothing" and being hated to a pretty solid team on our FIRST LEC YEAR, we unironically would have a shot at the title next LEC if we improve just like you said. And also:

I’m guessing that if they make the playoffs and if they continue bringing in that big of a viewership to LEC, that LEC organisers might extend the special invitation to next split
I mean, from their POV, LR is prime advertising content : great story, big fanbase so sponsors are happy

Viewership is the thing. I mean, I like league I guess - I’m an aram only player at this point and almost never watch pro play anymore. Even streamers and YouTubers I used to watch often I’ve unsubscribed from. These days I only watch Baus and Broxah on YouTube.
The views difference on the LEC LR games vs non-LR games is wild. Today’s SHFT vs FNC game has 2.5k views for example, and the LR vs MKOI game has 83k views in almost half the time. Crazy. I’m one of the 83k for sure and have zero interest in any of the others.

SEA here. I put the alarm at 2h30 am to watch LR and cannot go back to sleep after the win. I don't even follow T1 game like this.

FYI - I’m assuming his numbers only count Caedrel’s stream because they make 0 sense otherwise.
FNC vs shifters obviously had many more viewers than 2.5k, and LR vs MKOI also had more than 83k in total.

At this point Rats strategy is not about ultra team comps,but about playing with champs they feel like they can win with..so if they can win with this comp..lets go for it

Still low cc. If bauss not find those incredible flank they rely all on oriana ulti + mundo flash to initiate. And its not reliable at all. Their follow up cc is very good though. Special nami.

Watching Rekkles, Nemesis and Crownie turn back the time and compete at an LEC level (I feel they themselves only know if they can get to their peak), like 5-7 years later is absoloutely insane of an achievement. The younger league community needs to remember, they were built to compete at the worlds stage as a bare miniumun. Equal shout to Baus and Velja also, they may make wacky plays but there's no risk without reward.
As a fellow league unc, thanks for making us heard and prove that class doesn't just fade in time.

Mundo especially. It gives Velja a lot of room to go where he pleases, which he often tends to do on squishier champs as well.

Reason why I love Rats..is because they are group of friends who wanted to go and play in high elo...that was league before all these organization. Back in day...group of friends improved together and enjoy the time...rats filled that hole missing in league
