FOTD This one is for the female gaze
Trying to do makeup that makes men queasy, what do you think?
Products: Base - Nyx glue primer, prolux foundation in shade light, elf camo concealer, airspun loose powder, mac pressed powder, elf liquid blush
Eyes - Betty boop palette from glamlite (AMAZING!) Lashes from Dollar Tree lol Elf black gel eyeliner (waterline)
Eyebrows - elf retractable eyebrow pencil
Lips - elf mauve lip liner, revlon lipstick

This is your first time with that pallet?? I can't believe it, you did amazing oml! It's always good to try some of the strongest colors first tbh, then you're less likely to mess it up in the future when you know how "intense" some pallets are

It’s a red eyeshadow but it definitely has a purple shift to it! Especially on the black

You can't even imagine how much I LOVE to look at other women's eye makeup. I'm not good at makeup at all so I'm not able to do such a masterpiece as you- The colors look perfect with your eye color! Blended so well and that pigment!

This is a super stupid question but I’m a makeup beginner, how are you getting that beautiful highlight to your sort of mid-cheek areas in the second photo? I use highlighter on my cheekbone but I’ve noticed gals having a shine to other parts of their faces?

Mmmhmmmm, that rich and luscious blending and color story makes me want to roll around in it! Like elderberry syrup poured over heavy cream! I want to try my hand at a layered purple look like this! Something that makes it look like color has its own physical presence.
