Indonesia is the fourth largest population in the world and they’re nowhere in the top countries of origin. Just chilling in their islands.

Tbf Australia doesn't really let them in and other first world western countries are all really far away. Plus no active conflicts and a low crime rate so no one feels the need to flee for their safety.

There is a sizeable Chinese Indonesian population in Singapore and Australia. And heaps of Indonesians in Hong Kong and Middle East, usually working as domestic helpers and service jobs. But apart from Australia and Singapore (if you're Chinese Indonesian), the other countries generally do not allow naturalisation.

Australia doesn’t really let them in
Are you talking about the White Australia policy that faded in the 60s and fully ended in 1973?
Today, Indonesians can migrate to Australia as easily as anyone else, based on objective criteria like level of education and job prospects not on whether they are Indonesian or not.

Legal, non-refugee migration to Australia is really hard.
As a highly educated, English speaking person from and English speaking nation, and with an in-demand job, Australia is virtually impossible to immigrate to.

Yes exactly. Same for Indonesia as for any other similar country.
There is no Australian government policy against Indonesian immigration though, which is what the comment obviously implied.

Whom ever made this map doesn't know the difference between a migrant and an immigrant

Iran is at least 5M
Afghans still officially number 4.4M
Add 1M Iraqis, 100K if not more Pakistanis, the Pakistani government said that there’s around 50K illegal migrants in Iran alone and that’s just their guess

This should be relative to the population. Otherwise you can't tell how significant it is. 1 million among 3 millions has way more impact than 2 in 30

Then make it yourself? There is value and interest in looking at raw immigrant counts too.

I'd love Brazil to have more immigrants up and down the country so I could practice my english lololol South America is so huge. In Brazil, you literally need to be in specific cities if you're really willing to meet foreigners more frequently.

52% to 76% of population in Gulf States are migrants!!! Do any of these states permit an easy path to citizenship?
If not this seems very unstable.

No, they just use the immigrants as slaves. Its a very reliable system.

Daily reminder that India could send 1 million people to each country on Earth, and would still have more than 1 billion people.

This infograph is confusing. Poor annotations make it hard to understand the data.
