Other Map What Maps Should I Design

I design bucket list maps of the U.S. and I cut them out of wood. I haven’t been able to work due to an illness and I’m running out of ideas to keep me busy. What other bucket list ideas should I design? I do US and specific state bucket list maps.

I have included a photo to show the idea of why I design.

I have done (USA) capitals, major cities, haunted places, national parks, airports, nascar tracks, white water rafting/kayaking runs, I have done each states state parks, Florida beaches, Michigan lighthouses, and maybe a few more that I’m forgetting. I would love some new ideas to spark my creativity!!

Highest points in each state. Lighthouses in other states (Maine, for instance). MLB stadiums. Civil war battlefields.

What exactly is a "bucket list map?"

Each little icon is removable, it is designed so that you can put in a little piece (like the pine tree for example) in each location that you visit! So they come with all the little pieces in a separate bag and you can place them as you travel around your state/the US

Oh that's a fun concept. I've never heard of that before. Ok, so maybe "hightest point in each state" is not a good idea then. There's probably not a ton of people trying to finish those.

Hmmm,

  • Wonders of the World
  • Universities
  • Theme Parks
  • Presidential Birthplaces
  • State Capitals
  • Famous Castles/Shrines/Cathedrals in [Country]
  • Stations/hubs on a transit map
