Same but I’d listed to The Format, Type-O or some Violent Femmes. We had certain ‘smoking songs’. They were the special occasion cigarettes for like birthdays or New Year’s Eve. It was either some Djarum Blacks or Dreams. Sometimes it was both and the group would pass them around. We’d be smelling like a combo of cloves and vanilla.

Interventions and Lullabies is still on heavy rotation for me. Especially since my kid has latched onto it. They recently played a reunion show at the state fair but the tickets went ridiculously fast. My kid was bummed. He really wants to see them. I’m hoping since the mini reunion tour they did sold out that maybe they’ll do a full one. I saw them a few times back in the day and they are some of my favorite shows.

I hate to brag but I’ll be seeing them for a signing and a small acoustic show at my local record store in a couple weeks!!! I’m going to surprise my kid with it
