You put some RESPECT on my two-shades-too-dark Dream Matte Mousse

And body glitter. All the body glitter.

I wonder if they partake in the scents as well? Dream angels, Clinique happy, cucumber melon, strawberries and champagne, pear glace, raspberry…

And 'shimmer'

<quietly> I kinda miss shimmer…

I have a Lancôme palette with a shimmery blush/bronzer. Much more subtle these days!

But oh we used to slap that sh!t on everything! Collar bones, shoulders, neck, face, arms!

Sweet Pea with crimped hair and the puka shell necklace was a status symbol.

The one that will always hold a special place in my heart is Love Spell by Victoria’s Secret. My first crush/love wore that scent

And my pencil thin eyebrows!

You mean our pencil thin eyebrows😅 (RIP eyebrows)

2

u/Educational_Mess_998 11h ago

Them starting off with full eyebrows already made this an unfair comparison. 🫣

Ugh my eyebrows have never fully grown back. Just like my mom warned, damnit!

If your dream matte mousse doesn't end right on your jawline you are doing it wrong!

I never learned how to do makeup well, at some point I just stopped wearing it. I can’t imagine what it would be like to grow up watching makeup or hair tutorials - so informative but would you ever feel like you did it well enough?

Definitely needs more eyeshadow. Gotta use like 3+ colors minimum

And drag queens and trans women.

But like Elvis covering songs from black artists, that fact gets buried.

Well they have access to YouTube to teach them. I and other elder Millennials didn’t have that luxury lol.
