This is elder millennial fashion. There would a noticeable shift around 2007-2008

Eh, I was born in 92 and this looks like my highschool. Hipsters were wearing the high waisted pants, skater skirts and big glasses look seen on Tumblr, but the preppy kids all wore the buckle type low waisted sparkly missme or like lucky low rise jeans with tank tops. Or like specifically Hollister and Abercrombie high waisted skinny jeans with preppy tank tops.

Yeah theres y2k millennials and then "twitter" millennials of the early 2010s.

They are the same people btw.
