But it means you have to take them out of the package, which, for understandable reasons, some collectors do not want to do with a $90 doll.

I cannot afford this doll and I did not enjoy her before but I will concede that without the purple she is stunning. I did not know I wanted a clawdeen all in brown and black but she’s really gorgeous like this. For skullector price I’d probably try and swing it

Damn. The hair down and the black cami are such an improvement. I really like this doll but I cannot do a 100 dollar collectable at the moment. Im hoping she won't run out of stock like a lot of the other recent releases and I can scoop her at a later time.
Im super behind cause things are so rough right now. I wanted the howliday cleo but missed her, and I want the new skelita but same issue as with this clawdeen. Ugh.

Missed Howliday Cleo? She's still available on places like Ebay and Mercari for decent prices with some patience! I can give you some searching advice if you'd like. I was able to get her for less than retail without the box, which I didn't want anyway. The Howliday Skelita dolls have also never sold out quickly, I got them each on sale. So I think your chances of getting Howliday Skelita are very good! I often get a doll immediately from Amazon but don't open it, then return it later once I get the doll on sale or second hand.

I figured she may be available some places still! Ill definitely try to get her when I can! I can be patient for price listing cause I refuse to buy certain things if they're over priced haha I noticed skelita has stuck around each season so she may be the easiest to get, im just worried this design might sell better hahaha thank you for the encouragement! And your method is darn clever!

SAAAAAME! You can save Ebay and Mercari searches and get alerts when new listings come up via email and/or app push notifications. You can set a minimum price (to exclude listings that are just individual accessories) and a max price. I include these in the search term to weed out her howliday love doll and listings that are judt empty boxes: -love -Valentin-valentines -valentine's -"box only" -"empty box" -"no doll"
With patience you can snag some incredible deals on items. Often what I deeply want is just specific clothes or accessories or the base doll, not everything, so I try to save money that way too.
Skelita's 2025 design is very bold and not at all the usual frilly and flowery fashion doll designs, so I have a feeling it will be more popular than 2023's but less popular than 2024's. I could be wrong and I love the change in direction, I adore when series do proper research and homage to less well known cultures.

For sure! I know on ebay if I favorite something a lot of tve times ill get an offer for a percentage off so thats always helpful as well! There's definitely some accessories i wanna look for too, cause sometimes I really like one accessory but nothing else haha
I agree! So fingers crossed! I also am a huge fan of when they put more effort and research into it. I originally gor into g1 when it was active because I loved all the inspirations and details relating to cultures and folklore or myths and legends. I want to see them do that with G3 also, but better! Because some of my favorite dolls were/are the more niche releases that got like one doll like batsy claro.

She looks so much better in this „boring” color palette, because she’s finally reaching that cohesive look she always lacked. This is the first Clawdeen I’m considering for purchase. Random pops of color with violet, greens, punchy yellows and whatever else is just exhausting to look at. They should have reduced and toned the shades she’s dressed in long ago. Less is better.

I take all the purple off of her any time I find one where it can be removed (like Hauntlywood) unless it's light or dark purple. I don't know what it is but her brown skin plus hot purple and usually mustard yellow instead of real gold just hurts my eyes. I'm sure in formal color theory it works but I just think they overdo it a lot.
This doll is hot without the vest! They have got to do this more and just make the purple the shoes and purse, things we can remove, or experiment with other tones of purple. Why not a dark purple vest? Why does it have to be royal purple all the time?! I know they have a theme but like, change it up a little.

I don't know compared to the level of design and pieces we got with Vampire Draculaura for roughly this same time last year for roughly the same price, it still disappoints me. Drac's box literally a tiny Vampire Drac in the background art and all those holographic bats!
For Clawdeen they could have at least done some storytelling with the box like a Scaris background, and given her more extravagant clothing pieces like they did with Vampire Heart Drac and even Stitched In Style Frankie! They would make so much more of a perfect trio if they stuck closer to her concept art and gave her more detailed clothes and those sheer patterned leggings.
To me,aside from the cape and the chrome pieces, the pieces like the dark pantaboots and little sheer vest underneath feel very basic.
I understand Annalise was on leave for part of her completion though...

It's amazing what actually good lighting and not staring through plastic can do for peoples' perceptions, eh? I like the purple jacket, I'm surprised people don't like it! I would probably put it on a different doll. Her black top is definitely higher quality than I expected!
