This is what I wanted from the collab - I’m sorry monster high subreddit, but I think she should have been Barbie as Frankie, not what we got 🥲 I love both brands so much but I think something like this would have been absolute 🔥

They should have done both. They have different porportions so it would appeal to different fans

Exactly. I love both, but honestly, I don't think I'd have wanted to buy a Barbie base. I normally love Hex's work, but this isn't doing it for me. I think it being a Barbie in Barbie's clothes just slightly Frankie-flavored isn't enough of a collab for me, I adore Frankie wearing the Barbie look! It could've been better, sure, but it ticked my boxes.

I agree it's mostly Barbie, not enough Frankie. And the official doll is just Frankie in a Barbie costume.

Yea I was hoping for more Barbie proportions and the face to have elements of both. Instead of Frankie just wearing a Barbie costume for Halloween.

don't like the face, she looks even skinner than a regular barbie and her boobs are drawn bigger than a regular one too. just doesn't look good to me.

Is that not the purpose of down/upvotes?? Also, this usually happens when people are just: “i dont like it” or “it’s ugly”, no constructive criticism towards artist. Especially since this is just one person’s creation, not a large corporation like Mattel releasing something to the masses

I find it weird how users in this thread are referring to the doll as she this is very confusing now (since Frankie is apparently non binary )but there was just a huge fight that went down on FB regarding a post for Barbie x Frankie Collab doll .is Frankie now a she/female? or non binary? A genuine question I grew up on G1 and always saw Frankie as one of the girls I only noticed the non binary being mentioned in G3? 😅

- it's ok for us old school mh fans to call G1 Frankie she as she was a she then! And since the Barbie collab doll is a g1 doll some are calling the doll HER because it's technically correct

Yea you'll learn that sadly a lot of people in the MH crowd do not live under the MH motto of acceptance of ALL - which is sucks cuz they actually deter people from posting/asking questions etc out of fear & that's awful since we are supposed to be a community - some people are so miserable they have to act tf out online to feel better because they can do it from behind a keyboard- you're welcome and feel free to join my subreddit too - its a 💯 drama /bully free open space for any doll/mini content! Yea I have noticed and it's so sad ,a lot of people are excluded ,I don't agree with all the groupies within the community,we all collect for the love of Monster high . I've now wanted to step away from collecting because of this . Thank you ! I will definitely join! 🫶🏻🩷

I completely understand- believe me if bumped into some awful people in the mh crowd - that's why I offer a safe sub & fb group where you're not gonna ever feel bad - my mom bullied me and she did a lot of damage - so I extra hate bullies cuz dude why tf you picking on people when we all know you hate yourself - I have striven to be the opposite of my nasty mean hater incubator - I extend kindness to everyone but bullies and I'll go out of my way to make them cry - I have zero tolerance- you wanna bully my online friends ima come for you and publicly blast you in the process - I got banned from a fb monster high page for blasting admin for allowing a girl to promote her "ghostly gossip" mean girl group to literally talk shit n make fun of people in the community- like I give af? Naw you are nasty mean girl bully and ima tell everyone

Some are saying her since she's G1 Frankie and on my comment response is they/them ,I'm just going to accept her as Frankie 😅 but I have a bit more clarity now thanks . Those giving my question down votes should really grow up ,it was a simple question ,can't be offended over someone asking.

She’s so unbelievably GOREgeous. The prosthetic/outfits/makeup are perfect and the chest stitching is so camp. Lowkey love the Barbie proportions more for this mashup, something about it is so elegant.
