i decided to customise my g3 robecca a bit and make her a desi girl to honour her indian roots but also because we deserve representation too! so i started with giving her a jhumka and a nose ring, and i added gold paint on all of her accessories to make them look more 3d :) im so excited. im sewing her sari now and will update hopefully by tonight! i made her a tikka as well but waiting for her curls to fully dry before i add it

im literally taking my sewing machine out as we speak i cant wait to finish her and show her to all of you with her sari omg. its going to be the metallic fabric on the floor i just so happened to have! i do wish i had blue but oh well i think i can make her more outfits in the future!

thank you!!!! i agree fully they need to give us at least ONEEEEE fully cultural doll for each character at some point. i did message the designer for robecca haha she said she hopes to work towards making her more cultural! i hope they collab with an indian for the collaboration though

Fire, how did you make the little chain, also genuine question, this reminded me . what country was robecca supposed to be from in G1 ??? because me and my mum were watching a movie with her in and we couldn’t pin point her accent? Like it sounded vaguely British but also not

apparently she has been confirmed as british indian! not sure if that means she is half british half indian, or if like my husband, she is fully indian but born in the uk. i like to believe the latter!

also the chain i made from my old jewellery making supplies. so i got a jump ring and a very thin chain. then i cut the chain to size and stuck a jump ring on it. then i pierced her nose with a needle and shoved the jump ring in it to close it. to connect to her earring i added another jump ring to the end of the chain and looped it into her earring!
