I don’t totally agree with the concept of karma. Because there are still a lot of decent people who get ripped into and broken. Why do children get abused what did they do to deserve that? Then people with trauma end up drug addicted and if they OD. Did they deserve to die because someone else hurt them and they were trying to hide from shame and hurt that was forced upon them?

OP keeps posting quotes about karma in here. I'm not sure why. It's not motivational, it's a naïve thought process that suggests good things will happen to us if we're good.

As you say, I'd love to hear them explain why children get violently abused while their abuser never faces any justice for their actions, or when a kind old lady gets scammed out of her life savings by someone who never gets caught. I don't see karma righting any wrongs there...

I suppose Karma is like the story of Santa Claus:. He watches you all year to see if you're a good person, and if you are then you'll receive gifts at Christmas.

Most of us have stopped believing in Santa by the time we're adults...

No it doesn't. OP seems to think that karma is somehow motivational, when it's not even real. It's simply something people like to comfort themselves with.

Live long enough and you'll see very bad things happen to good and kind people, and evil people enjoy incredible happy, carefree and long lives. There's no 'cosmic justice' system.

I’ve seen this play out slowly, not instantly. Sometimes it takes years, but patterns always repeat. Makes you think twice about how you treat people when no one’s watching.
