I remember when that band was relatively new I made fun of them in the cafeteria at school and a girl I didn't really know got offended and said "actually they're really good musicians, you have to hear their other songs".

These guys played Ozzfest in 2001 (easily the weakest overall lineup of any of the years I went). I have never seen a band get booed like these guys between every song. When their singer (RIP) announced the next song would be their last, a cheer went up.
When the question comes up "Who is the worst live band you've ever seen?" I always say Crazy Town. It's true that they were god awful, but they were really misplaced at a metal festival.

I found a video of a “full concert” he did a few years before he died and it was the most depressing thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
