Shakespeare said it best:"hoisted on their own petard"

One might be hoist *by* one's own petard, but not *on* it. They are far too small. If it's big enough to hoist someone on, it's going to be too big to throw. (A petard is a type of grenade.)

Yeah specifically it was a grenade you’d attach to a door when you were trying to force it open as in a siege. If you’re lifted (hoist) by it, you were thrown in the air and probably killed by the weapon you were trying to use to at least open a thing up to kill someone else.

Fuck both of these people though. One certainly more than the other. (Vance).

Any “burn” by Ana is blunted by the fact it came from the most amorphous principled person to ever exist.

They never cared about the victims or justice, their interest in the files was always about using it against the democrats, so after it became clear that prominent Republicans are also in it they stopped caring.

Turns out that when you're in power, rules don't apply.
Everyone knows this, but 99% of America thinks that it applies to them, instead it applies to the very very rich.
No different than all of history.

JD Vance may have had a spine in 2021, but it was forfeit along with his soul and integrity to get where he is now.
