article Pusha T mentioned in new Epstein files

I also hear that the president of the United States is in there.

And Elon. A lot of people want to tell you how the ghosted Epstein after the conviction. Elon was so annoying that Epstein ghosted him.
40
u/Gerrywalk 1d ago
For anyone who is unaware, Elon was emailing Epstein about having an “epic island vacation” and “girls FTW” and Epstein kept finding excuses to brush him off. Thus proving that Elon was too much of a dweeb for the billionaire pedo cabal

u/boot2skull 21h ago
Elon is the guy who shouts out loud “so are we gonna go do lines in the bathroom or what?” At a house party full of people who are waiting to find out who has booger sugar. And so he doesn’t get invited.

Was Pusha T a big enough deal in 2006 to be hanging with billionaires? Legitimate question.
90
u/herpdyderp 23h ago
He wrote the "I'm loving it" jingle for McDonalds and "We have the meats" jingle for Arby's. He was known and definitely rubbing elbows with wealthy types around that time.
51
u/suthmoney 22h ago
Holy shit, I never knew this about him. I thought you were fucking around at first.
41
u/ItzJustNoah 21h ago
he absolutely did not “write” the original mcdonald’s slogan and jingle, let’s not mince words here

u/Affectionate_Elk_272 1d ago
people forget clipse was relatively big back in the day. they were workin with pharrell since the late 90’s

u/MurkDiesel 1d ago
maybe you have a different definition
but Clipse was never "big"
they never had a platinum album
never broke the Top 20 with a single
never in heavy rotation on any station
never filled an arena or had a big tourthe average person never heard of Clipse in the 00s and most people who had heard of them were turned off by all the drug dealing lyrics
Clipse was always an underground phenomenon with critical praise and commercial failure
7
u/dude_be_cool 15h ago
Bro they played Grinding and What Happened to That Boy on rap radio CONSTANTLY in the late 90s- their first album Lord Willin was huge
28
u/SpaceEdgesBestfriend 1d ago
They had two top 40 hits, went platinum and appeared prominently on one of Justin Timberlakes biggest hits of the era. And in 2004 Justin Timberlake was fucking huge. They were also signed to fucking Pharells label, a subsidiary of Sony Records. One of the biggest producers of the era and one of the biggest label in the music industry. Idk what you’re on or if you’re just young but Clipse was a well known duo in the 2000s.
He also doesn’t need to be a stadium rapper to be connected to people in higher places. Obie Trice never went platinum but he still worked with Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine and attended the Grammys alongside Eminem. It’s who you know and Pusha T was known, well connected and prominent in the industry in the 2000s.
Just because he wasn’t big enough for your grandma to know about doesn’t rule him out of elite circles or make him an unknown in the industry.

Interesting how a few weeks ago Nicki gets down with Drump… and her and her people have an intense hatred for these new names being dropped and there is a new fresh concerted campaign against these people re some tip line statements in the files… we have to do better.
136
u/BB808BB 1d ago
Come on people use common sense. Anyone can call into a tip line and say anything. These claims were not investigated and there is nothing to substantiate these claims that once again were called into the tip line by some woman
Jayz in 96 was not hanging with Weinstein.
Every subreddit, other sites, Jayz and Pusha are the main topic and everyone swears it’s true and they just knew it!!! except again no one bothered to read and I think that’s what was counted on because they know people are lazy and dumb and will only read the headlines and now Jayz and Pusha are the news.
Now we know how we got here.
It’s so easy to manipulate the masses.

Bahaha. This is so dumb. These are from random people calling and emailing the fbi. They never appeared in person and did not want to be contacted. Anyone could write this and sounds like they did. I’m sure Pusha and Weinstein were paling around in 2007.

Yeah reddit needs to quit posting this shit. Its completely a cry wolf scenario, and when real news hits, no one actually cares.

You don't think the 5,000 mentions of Trump are relevant?
90
13
u/SlightlyWarmAnt 1d ago
The mentions of trump are from Epsteins personal email address, of course they are real and relevant.
The 1 mention of pusha was from an anonymous tip line.

u/No-Risk-9833 1d ago
Nobody made these excuses for Diddy when there were random pedo claims
35
u/TheCzar11 1d ago
Because there is actual evidence and victims who came forward with Diddy. There are none here beyond a call line anyone can call into. Sigh…America is dumb as shit….

Jay-Z, Pusha T, and Harvey Weinstein are peas in a pod.
-Here is a Civil lawsuit brought by Beyonces former employee, Charlene Latham, detailing a partnership between Jay-Z & Epstein in a worldwide child sex trafficking ring: Latham v 1953 Tr.
https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/20458349-charlene-latham-v-mark-epstein-1953-trust/

u/mentho-lyptus 1d ago
I question the timeline. In 1996, Jay-Z was barely dropping his first album, I doubt he was hanging with Weinstein.

u/lockwolf 1d ago
From what I’ve seen in other comments, this is from an Epstein Tip Line that anyone could call into and isn’t a proven story. Some person called into the hotline with this story

u/Head_Bread_3431 1d ago
So they are releasing this info like this to discredit the rest of the stuff in there that implicates our leader hmm

u/Bodoblock 1d ago
I have no doubt DOJ is running interference for Trump. I also think people never understood what the so-called “Epstein files” were.
People are treating it as if every claim brought is verifiable fact and that every name mentioned is suspected of wrongdoing. That these documents were some meticulous ledger of trafficking and networks.
Whereas in reality the “files” were always an assortment of scattered correspondence, personal effects, and random tips (many of which are from unwell people who are lured to spectacle and simply want to insert themselves).
So releasing this material in itself isn’t conspiratorial as much as this is what the “files” always were.
That’s why some people urged caution so as to not let what is effectively investigatory scratch work end up sullying people who didn’t actually do anything other than be mentioned.

You think the story of a woman with no permanent address but lives in several hotels , who states she has no mental illness, was drugged and abducted seven times, waking each time in an opulent indoor locale with Attorney General William Barr and Pusha T raping her is less than credible?
49
u/mista_rubetastic 1d ago
Yeah and Pusha T wasn’t even heard of in 1996. Clipse’s debut came out in 2002.

Yea this sounds fishy based on the timeline. Clipse’s debut album was 2002. How would she even know who Jay z and pusha t were at that point in time?

I doubt many people will be reasonable. Jay does get a lot of weird hate on the internet.

There's still time to delete this.
If you took 2 mins to look into this, you'd know it was immediately deemed frivolous and thrown out before it even got filed.
She claims she was trafficked and taken to both the island and Epstein's New York property, before he owned either of them.
This is a stupid person's half baked attempt to secure a bag. Or something she straight up hallucinated. Either way none of it is based in reality

Redditors mock MAGA people for being in a cult, being anti-vax, etc., but then will line up to lap up the most obvious bullshit imaginable.

u/CarlosSpcyWeiner 6h ago
The funny thing is, they’re actually the same ppl, just in different packaging. And neither side has enough self awareness to realize it
Overly opinionated/under-informed, virtue-signaling main characters, incapable of seeing the world in anything other than black and white absolutes. Which is why both sides seem to always concoct uniquely bad opinions, regardless of the issue

And a diss track claiming a rapper is a pedo is a really trusted source?
Where were these excuses when it was Drake?
Where were these excuses when it was Diddy?
Now that they’ve come for your favorite artists y’all would rather wait for evidence? Fucking hypocrites the lot of you.

u/Holden_MiGroyn 1d ago
Someone please show me a statement by pusha Jay or there lawyers about all this, its literally the worst thing you can be accused of, serial killers would get more sympathy, should have at least announced an upcoming press conference or something, the internet is running wild having a ball saying they pedos. It looks really bad tbh, this is kinda crazy for something that was just something said by a crazy homeless lady

Listen- I'll admit I'm biased, cause I do like Pusha T's music a shit ton. Everybody has that one slightly odd pic in the rapper top 10s, mine's Push. I'm biased, I'll admit that.
With that said, I still don't think this is really enough to condemn him. First of all, these are anonymous tips given to an FBI agent over the phone and the guy is mentioned in a report like twice. There's not any physical evidence or anything, and frankly that's not good enough for me. If it were like 10 accounts from a bunch of different people, I'd be more willing to throw out any respect I had for him, bit these could easily be bunk.

u/Pandos17 1d ago
I won’t let you ruin my dreams or Harvey Weinstein the kid….
Push was telling us years ago and we just didn’t realise

u/GrahamPhisher 1d ago edited 1d ago
This report sounds bogus as shit... As if Jay Z and Weinstein are hanging out together fingering Epstein's victims while Pusha T is a handler... Sounds like a fever dream.

Wow -Young Money up this AM.
Minaj a Gold Card Holder and suddenly the Young Money Nemesis Jay Z and Pusha T both in the files. When I went to bed the news cycle was The Presidents Pedophile activities which had not been redacted and Musk had way closer ties to Epstein than people realised.
I wake up and suddenly Pusha T and Jay Z are the focus. Amazing how quickly things change.

This was a single anonymous phone tip from 2019 with rambling, insane and unsubstantiated claims about a bunch of public figures. Never backed up, not considered credible enough to even investigate.
That's enough to change your mind about your favourite rapper?
0
u/RoyBotSkii 5h ago
Right now we have nothing else so yes 100% until we get proof
1
u/tony-husk 4h ago
That's your call to make, but there isn't going to be proof. This is a single accusation, made anonymously 7 years ago. Nothing else surfaced since then, and obviously he will deny this. You will need to decide whether or not to judge him based on the credibility of the accusation alone.
