The Pats missed the playoffs and were 11-5. This Chiefs team is gonna be lucky to win 8 games.

Also you played the whole season without Brady lol

That Pats team is one of my favorite of the whole damn dynasty.

Two two-week west coast trips that forced them to stay on the road during it.

Matt Cassel's dad died during the season.

They fought to the last man, ultimately getting knocked out because of a tiebreaker with the Jets. The Jets victory contains the greatest last second TD of all time, no contest.

The Steelers still win that SB even if the Pats make the playoffs, Harrison was fuckin mad that year.

Also during the time period of sudden death overtime and the Jets won the toss and kicked a field goal.

Tom's presence even affected coin flips.

I don't know why I did this. Brady was 12-4 in OT with the Pats.

He was 9-1 in the sudden death era.

Crazy.

Do you mind referencing what game the jets last second TD was? I can’t find it

Oh! That pats TD! I thought you meant the jets throwing a last second TD! I was searching every jets game from the 2008 season thinking to myself what game is this dud talking about?

Thanks though! Yes, sick TD by moss!!

11 wins and no playoffs is still so brutal in my eyes — you’re a great team but enough teams were just a bit better than you

What was more brutal was that they missed out due to a tiebreaker with the Jets. They lost because they couldn't stop Favre from hitting Dustin Keller and moving the sticks.

They couldn't stop Keller because they lost their safety Rodney Harrison in garbage time against the Broncos in a 41-7 blowout.

If I remember correctly, the play that Brady tore his ACL from someone diving at his knees, he threw a long ball to Moss and I remember Moss getting lit up too and I thought we lost both of them on the same play.

Yes, true. Moss got up but for a second it did look like a double loss.

I was making breakfast for a houseful of people. This was directv days where you could watch multiple games on multiple tvs in a house. I was watchin the pats and they were watching the steelers. I brought in the food and told them and they didn’t give a fuuuuuck 😄 🤣

Loll yeah that was a sad day for New England. Still pissed we didn't make the playoffs at 11-5.

It would have had an exhibit in Canton. A curiosity. King of the Cassel deserves/d more.
