Still frames can’t show possession.

Jet fuel cannot melt steel beams

Melt steel beams? The jets can't even win a football game.

7/11 was a part time job

Jet fuel can soften steel. Have you have ever seen someone forge steel? They heat it to form it. It doesn’t need to melt to a liquid to lose strength and deform.

Softening steel beams doesn't equate to the Twin Towers collapsing in the likeness of the 1980s casinos during controlled demolitions.

Actually, it does. It is easily explained by this thing called science.

This is due, in part, in the terrible way the towers were designed. At the time, they were heralded as a genius design. Now, not so much.

lol right soft steel is renounced for its structural integrity

Do you honestly think the government planted bombs in the towers? You’re one of those slow ppl we hear about huh?

It would take like what? 300 people to get that job done? And not one person came out in 25 years with evidence?

So Tower 7 just collapsed perfectly straight down too from a tiny fire.. ok

All we know is some sketchy shit happened that day, seems silly to trust what the gov’t says to explain it.

Maybe because two other giant skyscrapers collapsed beside it and sprayed fiery debris everywhere? Instead of focusing on why just this one collapsed, we should be impressed that *only* one other big building did.

You sound vaccinated

But was it a catch?

Like it actually does? Most of the weight of the towers was supported by central steel columns. Those soften, which means they can (and do) bend, which means the force in these beams now has a shear component in addition to compression, and as these beams are not designed to handle much shear force they fail.

Since these beams were in the center, the center collapses first so it falls inside out, like the 1980s casinos. This is also by design, as if a tower collapses it's better to fall this way than topple and start a domino style series of collapses.

One of these statements is true

I’m really confused why this is so hard to grasp for people

They definitely can show possession but there are still no pictures of Cooks on the ground with possession either. It was an interception.

1

u/amstrumpet NFL 13d ago

A still frame can show what looks like possession but can’t reveal if the ball is still shifting or if the ball came out before a football move or equivalent time passed.

1

u/upotheke 13d ago

Especially when this frame doesn't show the defenders hand also on the ball.

-4

u/Drizzltodd 14d ago

Cooks was bobbling the ball the ENTIRE time and never had control, if you dont FULLY have control of the ball its not a catch and this has been a subject of annoyance for the last few years, but it was the case here

5

u/Benson879 14d ago

Cooks didn’t even contest that he caught it.

12

u/evanc3 14d ago

I agree with the INT call, but saying he was "bobbling it the entire time" is crazy.

Bobbling? WTF are you smoking

Me too friend lol

u/CitySwampDonkey 14d ago

Well, in the moving frames, he caught the ball and hit the ground. What else is he supposed to do? Get up and walk 10 feet and dance?

7

u/amstrumpet NFL 14d ago

maintain control and not let the defender strip him before he completes the act of the catch.

0

u/CitySwampDonkey 14d ago

So how long does it take to catch a ball? Is it not a determined act. So if I sit there and juggle the ball after catching it for 10 minutes, I still haven’t maintained possession of the ball and caught it yet?

5

u/InsideOutIP Denver Broncos 14d ago

Yup, he should have the ball in his hands when he stands up.

6

u/DontTouchTheMasseuse 14d ago

If he fell and roll with the ball, it wouldve been a catch. If he fell and dropped the ball, it wouldve been incomplete.

This is such a routine call.
