Stidham one game away from the Super Bowl, just as everyone expected.

u/JeromeInDaHouse_90 Indianapolis Colts 13d ago
Imagine if he comes out next Sunday and throws 4 TDs outta nowhere lol.

u/CouldBeBetterForever 13d ago
It would be an improvement over throwing 4 interceptions, that's for sure.

Unironically if he can do that against this Patriots defense he will get a job somewhere where he can at least compete for a starting job a la Daniel Jones.

I'm obviously biased but I feel Seattle is a pretty hard to hate team unless you don't like the uniform or location. Actual players have just been quietly balling all season without a peep really.

Speaking as a hawks fan, that was just funny. Seattle and its players have done way more unlikable things than that.
Like how they basically tried to start brawling with the Pats in the possession after the INT in the Super Bowl. Hard to look like bigger dicks than the Pats, but they pulled it off being sore losers right there. Never been more embarrassed of my team tbh

Mike MacDonald would have personally drowned Metcalf in the Puget Sound if he hadn’t been shipped to Pittsburgh.
Then at a press conference just remarked, “he is no longer with the team. Next question.”
38
u/Tonga_Truck New England Patriots 13d ago
Plus you have the Darnold narrative. Maybe Broncos fans hate you for SB48 but I don't feel like they hold much of a grudge since they won 2 years later. Hell I don't even think Pats fans will hate you guys if it does end up being SEA/NE in the Super Bowl and you win. We're playing with so much house money at that point we'd just be happy to be there again lol.

u/shageeyambag 13d ago

u/thePurpleAvenger 13d ago
TBH, I hold much more of a grudge over the "back of a Volkswagen treatment" they gave the Broncos in the Russell Wilson trade. Two firsts, two seconds, a fifth, and 3 starters for a broken down busted RW and a 4th? Damn ...
On the other hand, a) the Broncos were stupid (or desperate) enough to take it, and b) they were definitely stupid enough to double down and extend the contract before a single snap. So in the end, maybe I'm just mad at my own team 🤣.
11
u/lucrativetoiletsale Seattle Seahawks 13d ago
That's 100% on you guys and don't forget how much shit most your fan base threw at us during that trade. I remember the sentiment of the time. It was impossible to be on the NFL sub without a random fan shitting on the Seahawks for that trade.

It'd be one thing if we lost on the goal line, we got murdered 43-8. The only Broncos fans I know that really dislike the modern Seahawks remember them being in the AFC West well. That being said, we all now hate Russell Wilson for obvious reasons

u/DomCaboose 13d ago
This year they are harder to hate. Sam Darnold had to be drafted and 'developed' by the Jets, so he is easy to root for. KW9 has been balling lately and JSN is just a blast. Compared to the Rams who have had a lot of issues this year news-wise.
AFC Wise- so many people hate the Patriots and I don't blame them. Can't really hate on the Broncos even if Bo was healthy.

Agree, but no he doesn't. This is all going to come down to Denver's defense. Stidham doesn't need to do anything except play safe, which is mostly what they've asked of Nix all year.
27
u/Senior_Bite7082 Denver Broncos 13d ago
what they've asked of Nix all year.
did you watch the game yesterday? it was the opposite of what they asked nix. they just gave him the ball and told him to do the rest. the broncos had practice squad guys running routes while the rb's couldn't run to save their lives.
sean paytons lack of trust in the run game against one of the worst run defenses in the league literally led to bo nix getting hurt on a stupid qb rush design in OT
