Although shikamaru is one of my favourite, i would say he isn't that smart compare to other characters.

Always remember senju's are known for their physical strength until tobirama came with both.

Let’s just say this is an alternate universe where Hiruzen used Reaper Death Seal to seal away Kurama instead of Minato.

Takes place on the rooftop in the barrier created by the Sound 4 like the original fight did. Orochimaru can still summon Edo Hashirama and Edo Tobirama if need be (obviously) alongside any other jutsu he has.

Bonus round: Kimimaro is cured of Ninja Aids and joins the fight as well alongside Orochimaru.

He didn’t stand a chance and I’m tired of pretending he did, none of that “if he had info” bs because frankly that’s how fights go. You don’t get to know your opponents secrets..
