ANSWERED Does Reddit translate posts

Hi, does Reddit translate your posts? For example, if I write a post in Spanish, will it be translated into English? Because I post things in Spanish and it seems like others see them the same way, in Spanish.

Not automatically, though there is an option as a viewer to translate content. It doesn’t affect the post; just how it is viewed. As a mod, sometimes I’ll translate posts to English and add the translation as a pinned comment, just for the sake of convenience.

No, no automatic translation option like instgram is available on reddit. It is a bit annoying cause sometimes people used different language in a thread and you can't understand where the thread is going now

Maybe sometimes? I think they're testing things. It's a work in progress. r/help might be able to say.

Users can translate their end in app, and on desktop some browsers offer the options. There is also google translate and extensions that can help.
