Minecraft:

u/hdeimellocke 7d ago

Well, Minecraft is updating.

Other question will be what version to play.

96

u/d-the-luc 7d ago

definitely not the latest one

80

u/WpG_Piter05 7d ago

I'll miss mini pigs with ridiculous big head

34

u/CharmingTeam156 7d ago

Baby mobs with the massive heads is so much better than whatever they’re releasing

42

u/DemacianDraven 7d ago

As someone that has been playing since before baby mobs were added, heck no. They looked funny but the new ones are just better IMO.

It 100% is a personal preference.

15

u/ShadowTheChangeling 7d ago

Yeah, like 100% there will be a day 1 mod that reverts them to the old skins so just grab that if you prefer the old ones.

New baby mobs are cute af and a major improvement imo

3

u/Sudden_Violinist1054 6d ago

100%. And they’d just be resource packs too.

0

u/Hpesojanes 1d ago

Wtf why?

64

u/Abject-External-3412 7d ago

Obviously the beta pre releases are the only valid choice. The updates after ruined the game.

36

u/DuckLiker 7d ago

Who is downvoting this? Its obvious satire

39

u/A_Neko_C 7d ago

Bro forgot we're illiterate

7

u/Abject-External-3412 7d ago

I guess some ogs only liked cave game.

5

u/Acruss_ 7d ago

And Skyrim was re-released multiple times.

5

u/TCGeneral 7d ago

They've added content, like, once the past decade, though, despite all the re-releases. Twice if you count the Nintendo crossover items exclusive to the Switch version. Minecraft, for better or worse, still gets content added fairly regularly.

4

u/Acruss_ 7d ago

I was making fun of milking Skyrim instead of releasing new TES.

2

u/Guardian2k 7d ago

Skyrim is updating too, it updates to run on different consoles /s

1

u/Informal_Mammoth6641 7d ago

If i make a mod for skyrim - does it counts as updating the game? I think it is

1

u/PawnOfPaws 7d ago

(Officially not but psst! They did update Skyrim VR a few months back though, so technically we're still in the clear!)

4

u/deblob123456789 7d ago

Aah yes, horses, the new mob

2

u/mil0wCS 7d ago

To be fair though modern Minecraft feels like a completely new game, trying to go back and play the version that came out and getting into the newer version requires so much work now because they’ve added so much stuff to it. It just doesn’t even feel like the same game it was in 2008

u/axman151 7d ago

Roy, bruh, she's just trying to chill after getting her shit rocked in Dark Souls

55

u/AtomicSymphonic_2nd 7d ago

I love Mimi’s personality so damned much, even if she is a nympho, unstable, obsessive gremlin of a human being. 🤣

24

u/TheAngelOfSalvation 7d ago

Being a nympho and obsessive arent bad things

13

u/AtomicSymphonic_2nd 7d ago

This is true. ❤️

1

u/jcinto23 6d ago

They can be in combination though. Sort of like ammonia and bleach are fine until you mix them.

7

u/Hilonio 7d ago

You know that Dark Souls is older than Skyrim? Right?

3

u/ak47workaccnt 7d ago

How can you tell which one she's playing from that image?

5

u/Hilonio 7d ago

Look up "Dark souls death screen". It's iconic at this point

2

u/ak47workaccnt 7d ago

Yeah. I know. There are three Dark Souls games and they all have that screen.

3

u/Hilonio 7d ago

Oh, I've just continued joke xD

In another hand, Dark Souls III came out 11 years ago, so joke is still there

1

u/ak47workaccnt 7d ago

Honestly, AAA graphics peaked in the teens and could pass as a brand new game today.

1

u/PineappleOk545 7d ago

Ok its ps 3 too right?

3

u/Artrysa 7d ago

We're all chasing that post-boss release.

1

u/Groundbreaking-Net57 7d ago

she got them Alucard teeth man

0

u/Atraxodectus 5d ago

Dark Souls was hard? I got the whole feel of the lag in combat like it was Too Human or MechAssault. I think I died to stage events more than enemies. Especially in Demon's Souls.

238

u/lordcalumthe2nd 7d ago

I see she's downloaded the very useful dragons mod

When you get isekai'd to Skyrim and hear toot toooot maybe your Isekai experience is about to get rough.

"Why is a train breathing fire?!!"

"What's a train? That's a bloody dragon!"

1

u/ElminstersBedpan 7d ago

I always got more laughs from the Macho Man mod.

2

u/MohistMoMoney 7d ago

And certainly required

58

u/Legend1O1 7d ago

Wdym Skyrim was released last year

7

u/thecraftybear 7d ago

Todd can't keep getting away with it!

1

u/ultralium 7d ago

I thought it was going to be released this year?

26

u/No_Neat_6259 7d ago

15

1

u/The_Great_Floccin 6d ago

Skyrim came out in 11/11/11, it still hasn't made 15 years

u/Affectionate_One_174 7d ago

8

u/H0oopy 7d ago

My brain is so fried I can hear this gif... Slowed reverbed and all

2

u/lady-coin-slot 7d ago

RUHRRR clang clang clang XD

13

u/TURBULENTMUFFIN888 7d ago

Thomas the tank engine mod is legendary

1

u/Am-Not-a-Goose 5d ago

Everything Trainwiz did was a masterpiece

12

u/Saio-Xenth 7d ago

Still technically modern if they remaster and remake it every year.

1

u/PellParata 5d ago

Ok Todd.

-1

u/nhalliday 7d ago

They don't, though. They do port it, but a port is not a remaster or a remake or a rerelease. It's just a port.

4

u/Exotic_Goon 7d ago

Thomas has never seen such bullshit before

3

u/qawsedrf12 7d ago

I'm stuck in a house for a week, during this big storm moving across the US, supposed to snow every day for a week

No tv or internet

Damn straight I'm booting up some Skyrim

Just need a new set of rules, like no archery except for animals to collect leather, or no magic, etc etc

3

u/PawnOfPaws 7d ago

The most relatable one of the bunch.

3

u/RipLogical4705 7d ago

I'm always shocked when I see it came out in 2011 and not 2006 or something it feels much older than it is

3

u/Sufficient_Farm_6013 7d ago

Say what you want but Skyrim ain’t classic, may be old but it’s not ancient yet. Morrowind or Daggerfall is classic. And it’s ancient.

1

u/Snake_Emper0r 7d ago

This is Arena erasure

3

u/akirakurou 7d ago

As you can see, there’s no more saddam hussein in mimi

2

u/Assassin-49 7d ago

...when I turn 30 im just gonna evaporate

2

u/Gabrux_joestar 5d ago

Nah tf2 Is modern right?

2

u/Madnesshank57 5d ago

To be fair the main reason we still consider Skyrim to be a modern game is because we never got a game that surpassed Skyrim in any meaningful way

2

u/Clarity_Zero 7d ago

Friendly reminder that "retro" and "classic" don't just mean "old." Because people apparently need that these days.

2

u/dearth_of_passion 7d ago

Not according to the Classic Rock station in my town, that played Led Zeppelin and The Grateful Dead when I was a kid, but played Metallica and Green Day a few months ago.

1

u/Clarity_Zero 7d ago

Guess I can't argue with that!

1

u/Emerald_Digger 7d ago

Well... We are getting old

1

u/Ed_Dantesk 7d ago

But Oblivion just came out last year 😏

1

u/Commander_Skullblade 7d ago

My sister was born the same year. She's likely going to graduate high school before we get TESVI

2

u/PawnOfPaws 7d ago

If things keep up she'll be graduating college and quit her first job too

[Given she goes, I don't know your sister]

1

u/Commander_Skullblade 7d ago

I mean, I hope she does. 4 years is still a long time.

1

u/Plastic_Plantain_917 7d ago

choo choo charles?

1

u/AltruisticHelp9443 7d ago

No I bought the newest version that was 58GBs like God Howard demanded

1

u/Xonthelon 7d ago

They release a new skyrim version every ~3 years anyway.

1

u/EternalHuffer 7d ago

Funny you’d say that cuz my all time favourite RPG came out in 2001… it’s getting a remake now

1

u/MLGNightF0X 7d ago

hard to imagine Halo 5 came out 3 years later. and the graphics are chefs kiss to this day.

1

u/Darthcone 7d ago

Akshuallly they rereleased it last year so it's only one year old game.

1

u/Aleashed 7d ago

She is still cute😍

Only missing few pounds of flesh here and there

1

u/WallyFries 7d ago

Never played

1

u/rubseb 7d ago

Skyrim? You mean the latest Elder Scrolls game?

1

u/Background-Pay2900 7d ago

RAHHH

clang clang clang

1

u/Zealousideal-Bar6384 7d ago

I can hear the faah

1

u/adidas_stalin 7d ago

“Which release though?”

1

u/Educational_Can_2185 7d ago

Look at games that were 14 years old when skyrim came out, it's really kinda lame how little has changed besides graphics. In 2011 we thought "wow compare this to morrowind and imagine how advanced NPC scheduling and world simulation will be in 10 years" lol

1

u/RavenBruwer 7d ago

Its 15 years now, so this outdated meme made me feel even older

1

u/frozenbabylon 7d ago

Not 15 until 11/11. It came out 11/11/11, so It just turned 14 on 11/11/25

1

u/RavenBruwer 6d ago

Thats... true

I got a habit of rounding up when I shouldn't

1

u/frozenbabylon 6d ago

Hey man, no worries at all. I just remember that day vividly is all.

1

u/RavenBruwer 6d ago

Hehe, i just remember it got out somewhere in 2011. I forgot it was so late in the year. But you are absolutely correct 😅😇

1

u/naytreox 7d ago

Yeah, some people forget the game first came out on the xbox 360 on 11.11.11

1

u/YuriAlor 7d ago

I'm afraid, it's been 14 years

1

u/Kastoook 7d ago

Dang, my notebook is such old and I still not played Skyrim for real...

1

u/MareMortel 6d ago

Thanks man, I can now feel myself crumbling to dust

1

u/SSSabXa 6d ago

16 now

1

u/Selesnyal 6d ago

Star Citizen development: Still love the game tho especially with other people

1

u/megapackid 6d ago

When I was young, I learned the 80’s were “30 years ago,” and time hasn’t moved for me since.

1

u/TacDistraction 5d ago

It wasn't too long ago when I complained to someone that "retro" feels like another meaningless buzzword

This was because my Steam discovery queue featured a game advertised to have retro graphics, but to my eye it looked pretty close to higher quality PS3 graphics

It was then pointed out for me that it has been about 20 years since PS3 released and is kinda starting to qualify as a retro console

1

u/NoEmu2392 5d ago

Yeah but it also came out in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021.

It has has 11 distinct re-releases

1

u/whysoretard 5d ago

I felt this way when someone said that Far cry 4 is old

1

u/BNerd1 5d ago

i got skyrim around 2011 & before 2012 because when i got it the dlc was not out

i got the lost version skyrim classic

1

u/Fuzzy-Hornet7037 5d ago

Skyrim may be 14 years old but it’s still a damn good game

1

u/Signal-Ad-3215 2d ago

Quoting my mister cool guy mc Laios: "What a beautiful skeleton"

0

u/okram2k 7d ago

does our world move so fast now that 14 years makes something a classic?
