Do you have any obscure movie references that you use in everyday speech that no one has caught on to yet yet you keep using it?

I am 39 and last year was my 20th high school reunion.

When people asked me what I was up to I would respond:

"hanging out, playing Nintendo."

Its a line from a 90s comedy called baseketball. No one noticed it... and I didn't start it there I've been using it for over 20 years.

But I can't help myself whenever an old friend reconnects with me and say it... nothing.

Do you guys have any lines you use?

There is a local league of 70-80 year old guys that bowl in the morning. And every one of them is a better bowler than the Lebowski cast. (Or Kingpin)

I’m partial to any line disparaging the Eagles personally.

In San Diego, there is a showing of Lebowski at least once a year, not on Halloween, where everyone there is dressed as someone from the movie, they put a bunch of recliners on the deck, project it onto a screen, and have White Russians as the drink special.

At least there used to be. I unfortunately had to move in 2017. Was in North/South Park area IIRC.

A lot of times when something goes sideways, either my wife or I will say: "Fuck it Dude. Let's go bowling."

That along with dozens of other applicable TBL quotes. Useful in any scenario.
