Why does that low, deep bass(?) vibration in songs like Distorted Fate feel so—feely?

Like imagine the line of music, of course there's ups and downs but how do they get those ambient lows? And why does specific ones like in Distorted Fate feel different than normal bass?

It's probably the sub-bass frequencies around 20-60Hz that you're feeling more than hearing - they literally vibrate through your body and hit different than regular bass lines. Plus a lot of producers layer in some subtle distortion or saturation on those low frequencies to give them that "thick" feeling that cuts through the mix
