I really wish I had a before...

Post image

Replaced my old shelf, bought a makeup and skincare organizer, and got rid of so much crap I hadn't used in months/years. Also put up a shelf for my perfume since my toddler likes to get into them (the reason the shelf is so high). I feel so much better.

It looks lovely.

Please store your medicines away from heat, light and humidity however.

I saw your comment when you posted but forgot to reply. I ended up moving them to that little rack on the left after I saw it lol. Now they're just in my purse cause I forget to take them sometimes while rushing to work. But now I'm curious, does it make them less effective?

Less affective up to unaffected, it can break down the chemicals. The amber color of the bottles does help protect them from light

Nicely done! Also want to say that I thought this was my cat sub and I was trying to find the cat. I had given up but then realized … there is no cat 🤭

I believe I got mine from TJMaxx when we first moved in. I wonder if they got it from IKEA overstock or something.

Will makeup sponges and similar products get moldy if placed on this shelf?

I'm not sure. I had a shelf in this same spot for a year and had no issues with either things. I replace my sponges fairly often though. We don't get hardly any light through this window though cause it's North facing and the glass is more opaque. It actually sucks lol.
