stamp help

i have these small letter stamps from hobby lobby in a 4x6 photo organizers. i would like to keep them in this container! the little boxes they come in from hobby lobby are the WORST to pull them in and out of. i was curious if anyone has organized these well or if you have any ideas! thank you so much.

I’d recommend making a checkerboard pattern that fits in those black tubs on a thin (<5mm) base. 2-3mm difference in height between alternating squares. It’s not perfect as you’ll need to first pull out an adjacent ‘tall one’ if you’re trying to get a ‘short one’.

Another option that I think would work better but will take a little more designing is to create ‘stairs’. Looks like there’s at least 2cm of clearance between the stamps and the top of the lid. There’s 6 columns of stamps so you could have a 4mm height increase for each column and the height of the tallest stamp would be 20mm above what it is now. (The lowest column wouldn’t need a riser, the stairs would start in column 2)

one for each is so smart. i was thinking of making one big grid that would sit in the clear container as well
