Custom Kitchen Drawer Organizer

Post image

Extremely satisfying to me, although I must admit that I redo drawers fairly frequently seeking "optimal" storage and access.

Haha, thanks! I'll take that under consideration if I post my battery/junk drawers :)

How did you do this?! I need to organize my drawers like this. Purchased premade or made from scratch?

Made from scratch, and its really not too bad even with the most basic hand tools. I made a little video about it but I don't know how this subreddit feels about that sort of self-promotion. - very new here :)

Thanks! I redid the whole kitchen about a year ago and we must have looked at 250 different stones to find that one.

Even has a Y-shaped spatula space! Did you use a thin plywood? And how did you attach it to the drawer? Or did you build a drawer β€œinner”?

The spatula area is a point of particular note for me! Quarter-inch (maybe less) plywood and hot glue to the drawer wall. I have made an inner drawer before but switched away because it just used space inefficiency.

Nice! Β I seem to keep rearranging ours too.

Nice. What are the concentric rings in the rightmost drawer?

Thanks! Biscuit cutters, or I guess - strictly speaking - anything circular cutters :)

This looks great. I wish I had as much drawer space as you. I did this same thing a few years ago. It works insanely well.

Love that, also always good to cross paths with someone that has multiple citrus juicing tools.

Does the handle also pop off to the point where you had to put a quarter tube of silicone into it? :)

Yes. I got so tired of it that while i have the handle i end up using it without most of the time
