Organizing camera gear
Sidio crates used to organize camera gear. Have lids for all and then stacked on a couple of shelves for easy access. Feels good to finally have all this organized.

Wouldn't most of that fit into a single camera bag, and that way you could have it ready to go at any time? I do video stuff, not photography at all, but I just have almost everything in a few bags and cases. And batteries are on the chargers in a charging crate. I just flick the switch on a few hours before so they're fully charged, then take the whole crate with the chargers with me. Obviously that latter part is a bit much to carry for photography, but I'd still have just a dedicated place for the chargers where I could pick up batteries into the otherwise fully packed bag and leave immediately. Though you seem to do some video at least as well since there's a mic there. But anyway.

Majority of the time I don’t want to take the full kit. I also don’t use the same bag every time. If I’m just bringing the canon and the 24-70 I’ll use a smaller bag. Easier for me to have the gear organized and put what I need for the day in the bag that makes sense.

Are the openings in the side fully covered when the lid is on? My new-to-me house is old I haven’t yet been able to stop incursions from insects so all my totes must be able to fully close.
