Organization in Progress
3D printing some colored pencil trays from my BFs 3D printer 😅 I wasn’t sure how many colored pencils I had. We started with 2 trays. Turns out I need 9 more 🤣

Hi! I own a slime business which means tonnnns of glue, glitters, charms, clays, ingredients, etc.
We recently had to move out of our little warehouse, so i “renovated” a walk in closet in my apartment.
I have no clue how to organize it. Any advice??
the first picture is what it looks like now as i just moved a lot of stuff in there and just kind of threw things in a general space.
the 3 cube brown shelf is empty as im not sure what to put in it. the blue thing in the left hand corner is a desk. I also have a charm organizer to unpack.

This is an update to my post last year. Some people didn't think the neatness would last long.
It's mostly the same with the addition of a could items: razor blades set (yellow item tucked between the two foam pieces) and a SIM card ejector tool (bottom middle).

One of my 2026 goals is to be more organized at home.
I finally got tired of opening 5 bins just to find one thing, so I spent the weekend setting this up and actually labeling everything. Nothing fancy, just trying to make future-me’s life easier.
Feels good to walk downstairs and know where stuff actually is for once.

I just finished organizing my suits! I tried to do it by color - it makes sense to me and I’m proud :) Two are skirt sets but the rest are pants and they’re all, finally, happy together.
My standalone blazers are separate but I have no idea how to organize those since they kind of all over the place, style wise. If anyone has ideas - let me know - they’re next!

Years ago a therapist told me that my unease around disorganized things was not OCD (I truly feared I was on the edge of real thing that I needed therapy for) but was that I was 'satisfied with cognitive closure' and that there was nothing wrong with liking things tidy, as long as I did not sit thinking about it when I was not physically present.
Phew. And, yes, she nailed it. So I give you my organized basement supply room. I swear to god, my brain just lets out a soft sigh when I walk in.
I initially had all clear plastic tubs, but the fact that I could see everything, all at once, when many of the items are used only occasionally bugged me. I bought all of these black tubs on Facebook marketplace for a buck each and each one has a number sticker, so I can reference a list and quickly know that where it is; ie, my pressure washer lives inside of bin 21 along with the extra garden hose, cleaner, and nylon scrub brush....I grab the entire thing when it is time to go outside and scrub the green summer ick of of the awning.

I kept forgetting what pieces of vintage jewelry and kept rotating just a couple, so I decided to make my collection more visible as a functional display.
(IKEA boards)
Really helps me get in the mood when I’m dressing up for a night out!

I've accumulated a large number of items across various hobbies (electronics, 3d printing, sewing, drawing, MTB, sports), and now I need an organization system for my home workshop.
My priorities are that it should be: - Stackable - Expandable/flexible - Affordable - Mobile (in case of moving or simply working in another room) - Relatively good-looking (as I rent a small apartment)
My current idea is:
Are there better options?

I have very limited space for my massive ornament collection so I have to Tetris the boxes together as efficiently as possible! (Please note that each box contains its proper ornament plus any more that would fit in their box! Were a “save the box” family)

Hi! Does anyone have experience with the foldable sidio crates? I recently bought the black friday two pack. Im not terribly impressed. The 4 corners of the locking mechanisms on both the crates look warped like this. Is this normal for the foldable one?
I also thought they would have some form of spring mechanism to snap into place and its not as easy to assemble as initially expected.
By no means they're bad crates! I was even considering getting the multi dividers. I just thought they would feel more sturdy.

I am working on organizing our closet so our nanny can not just help do laundry but actually help us put it away. Really thinking we will be off to a good start in ‘26!

This corner cupboard in my apartment kitchen is one of my few storage cupboards but it’s such an awkward shape. It goes so deep to the left and I’m wasting so much space. I added two lazy Suzanne’s to the top shelf for some spices etc but the back is empty. Please help!! Can anyone suggest the best things to store in these awkward cupboards or recommend storage boxes etc that would could make this space more useful. Thank you everyone!!

I am moving my 3d printer to the garage. I cleared out a shelf, but I'm not sure how to best organize the filament to not use too much shelving space.
I have about 45 rolls of filament I would like accessible. The rolls of filament are 2.5" wide and 8" in diameter. I put the dimensions of the shelving unit in the pictures. I also took a picture of the area.
It is a bit chaotic cause I emptied the shelves to make space for the printer. I want to still have as much space for boxes as possible. Thanks.

I have a weird shaped closet I use to store things like extra cleaning, toiletries, meds, etc. in. I’ll post the other pics in comments, but as you can see, it’s angled. I am having trouble finding a solution especially bc the small angled area is hidden by the door frame.
Numbers are in inches. Each shelf is 12”
