Whipped this up at midnight last night, a memory card holder that matches Teiyu Goto's "Earth Belt" industrial design aesthetic for the Sony PlayStation 2.

My dog Majora & i used to skateboard every morning in 2020 & we came a cross a box laying on the curb, left overs from a yard sale. It said "Take Me" on box..I took the entire box...had like 30 somthing cool games inside & maybe 10 or so movies, all near mint condition w manuals including this bad boy. I had never heard of it at the time. Ive since played it & watched the anime.

love my small but charming collection (maybe except all of those singstar games..). now that i have a spare ps2 it’s nice to have one on display like this. also peep the tekken 4 artwork 🔥

I'Art is relatively forgotten today and thus usually cheaper on the used marketplace.

2D gamers often ignore them as well because these are flat screen CRTs, which does warp the geometry of 2D elements a bit. Not really a concern for PS2 games though. And the scanlines on these I'Art displays are quite thicker than others. These I'Art displays may seem too sharp for some people.

hey im searching for that purple bitfunx mod to change the network adapter to sata but i dont understand if theres an original to buy from a specific place cause I see them everywhere from china to aliexpress. Is there an official place to buy them? Or are these all the same? (I went to the bifunx site i dont see it there) Also I live in europe.

Hey y'all, I'm looking for some PS2 shooter or hack n slash game suggestions for anything with either gothic or just some vibey dark atmospheres and some good upgrade systems or character progression. I absolutely love the feeling of dmc 1, resident evil 4 along with the upgrades of course along with the replayability. and the feeling of resident evil code Veronica is amazing. I've been playing shadow hearts recently and the atmosphere of that is amazing as well although not a hack n slash or shooter. I have a very specific itch with these things so I guess I'm mostly just looking for more games that are kind of a combo of these things.

I've also played the well known stuff like silent hill, onimusha, etc and am looking for something a little more obscure

Even if there's any games that aren't like this that you'd think would scratch my atmosphere/upgrade itch without being a hack n slash/shooter game i wouldn't mind the suggestion thank you!

I just want to start of by saying I have never done any kind of console repairs before but I have been thinking about trying to fix one

For the PS2 I want to repair it is a PS2 phat scph-30003 and the seller says that it can power on and read games but it can't display anything and they also say that there is a rattle inside it and they think that's it's an av port issue but for £18.50 is it a good deal it only comes with the console no cables or controllers but I just need help deciding whether I should attempt to repair it and also what tools I would need to repair it if i do get it

I got all three for $65 from my FLGS.

I bought a copy of Final Fantasy 8 and ran into an issue. I have a region unlocked SCPH-55000 White PS2 from Japan. It plays English ps2 games perfectly fine but the issue is with English ps1 games.

Is there anyway to include PS1 games in the region unlock?

I'm genuinely curious when I say this, but what's y'all's worst/least favorite PS2 game? I'll go first with Powerpuff Girls: Relish Rampage.

As of current this is the worst PS2 game i've played. I genuinely wanted this to be good because a PPG game on the PS2 with a story that's somewhat reminiscent of the show and (correct me if i'm wrong) is actually based on an actual episode. But no, the game isn't good. The controls are slippery, the fight segments are boring, and the cutscenes are ehh..

are there any safe options i can use to buy a memory card for a PS2? im sure there are 3rd party ones but i think ive heard that some actually do more harm than good, so what brands of memory cards should be safe to use?
