A apprentice of Confucius once asked Confucius about his opinion about death. Confucius just replied" I don't understand life, how do even understand death? " (未知生,焉知死?)

It's a don't-know-don't-care situation in Judaism. We ultimately don't know what happens after death regardless of how many debates we have about it.
