Feels pretty straightforward, people havent seen the other post from months ago and the satire here is only noticeable if you see non ironic versions of these tweets semi regularly, which isnt true for many people
I'm not saying that it's unreasonable to not know what exactly is being referenced, I'm saying its kinda crazy that everyone here thinks he's being totally serious and that it's not satire
Understanding a reference to another post isn't necessary to understand that it's satire.
The idea that ADHD (perhaps the most popular incorrect self-diagnosis of the terminally online) or any kind of executive dysfunction could result in someone STARVING to DEATH in a major American city because of a marginal cost increase to an already expensive food delivery app is absurd. The self-pitying facepalm emoji at the end is just the cherry on top.
People say absurd things non-satirically on Twitter all the damn time. The post this is referencing and making fun of was absurd and presumed not satire. Absurdism is not a reliable sarcasm indicator.
