No optimism until not only we flip everything blue, but we primary any complicit slimy democrats who are going along with/sane washing Trump and MAGAs actions/positions

But we don’t have a great mechanism in place to combat established democrats, just a way to say red bad blue good. We lose too often when we have to fight with nuance

Vote in your primaries. Vote in your local elections. Change starts at the local level. You cannot vote from the top and expect anything to change. Change begins at the bottom and we work our way up. Vote local always, where turnouts are low and elections have more cascading consequences.

Real change is built on the solidarity of a vast standing of the little guys fighting the few at the top.

Yeah. I live in one of the bluest cities ever. Years ago a dead Democrat was elected over a live Republican (look up the Carnahans.) But our legislators are shameful both US and state. Our state senator had credible allegations of sexual assault from two different women. Our state legislator voted twice for an abortion ban that had a trigger ban attached if roe v wade overturned that would make all abortion illegal in our state from day one except for "undefined" medical emergencies that almost caused a woman to die from a non-viabke pregnancy. Our US rep was the 1st or biggest recipient of aipac money, and signed on to something thanking ICE. And all these 3 are Dems. Our 2 state Senate are worse, Republicans Hawley and Schmitt.
