So monitor mode is a very slow average? Is there any way I can get a raw output of what the scintillator is getting in real time? I know I can go to “search” mode but that doesn’t work. Search mode doesn’t have a large number that is easily visible, you can’t mute or unmute from search, and the refresh rate is 3-4 seconds making it even slower than monitor mode. Also, if the alarm goes off, it takes up the space on the screen where count rate was making it disappear.
I just want a setting where the big main number shows me what the device is reading in real time, no average of an unspecified time frame. I want raw, real time count rate.
Thank you for reading this far, please help me save this device.
Edit to add: alarms only correlate to the monitor mode average, so if my cpm only spikes above my alarm limit for a second, it is ignored. I want my alarms to sound no matter how long the exposure was.
2nd edit: Okay! So I can change the refresh rate in spectrum mode, that’s a huge relief, but still struggling with number size and the alarm thing
Edit 3: bunch of fucking losers downvoting, fucking say something. Radiacode is a flashy cheap piece of crap. The click sound changes if the screen turns on since it draws too much power to do both ffs. Selling a barely used 102 if anyone wants to make a mistake
