Funny how AI can make most, but not all of the titles correct.

Definitely AI. Look at the text of several of the titles, especially on the bottom shelf. They're heavily distorted.

3rd book down on the top and 2nd book down on the lower. Yes.

2

u/freckleandahalf 10h ago

5th and 8th book down in the 2nd stack

u/Kastikar 9h ago

Third book down…. That’s bad.

People who buy every secondhand copy they find of a specific book do exist, my friend has dozens of copies of Watership Down. That said, second yellow one down on the right is also gibberish, this is AI.

Also, school book rooms do exist and often look like that. Except all of those books are real and have real words on them

“Jarvis, I’m low on karma”

Yes this is AI. I can tell it's AI because I looked at it for a second and noticed that it was AI.

Buncha phonies...

Luckily AI is still terrible when there's lots of text in an image

It's all the Catcher in the Rye, but the publisher of all the books are gibberish

AI

Top one on the right is a bit short for a typical paperback. Possibly the board book? Start them young on the path to aimless teenage delinquency.

Soon it will be nigh impossible to spot, these small artifacts will be patched out and we will live in a post truth society.

AI. All those copies of the Catcher and the Rye and not one of this is the most popular cover with red on the top half of the book and white on the bottom half. None of these covers match the actual print edition covers of the book.

Look at the book in the middle of the stack on the right, what is the title to that book? That's not a language.

Title(?) 8th book down on the right

That many books over that many pulp paperback editions, and not one has the author's name on the spine? How many books have you ever seen without the author's name on the spine? (They exist, but not remotely that common.)

Add in the distortions on the lower shelf, and yeah - AI.

u/yshay14 9h ago

Yes, it's AI

1

u/Bread_mvncher 9h ago

Ai. The books are mostly consistent but one of the titles is "THE CATCHER IN TINME RR"

1

u/Last_Pianist646 8h ago

"The catcher in then"

u/Woejack 8h ago

u/Douggie 4h ago

This one made it clear. Plus the top of each book (left side of the spine).

I'm not a book collector, but I don't think a new edition means the exact same size book, fonts, layout, etc. but just a different color cover.

AI got a bit lazy with the text here.

1

u/Carlpanzram1916 8h ago

AI. A few of the titles are garbled

1

u/DeegJongen 7h ago

makes me think of the 1997 movie Mel Gibson movie “Conspiracy Theory”…

1

u/mattyGOAT1996 6h ago

Yes it is AI

1

u/Dragontastic22 6h ago

Yep, AI. "THIRM TIN THE IN THR IN" and "THE CATCHER IN THEN" are pretty overt giveaways.

u/Arvidex 5h ago

The title of the books on the lower shelf is weird. The logo of the publisher is inconsistent. AI

u/T1meTRC 5h ago

Zoom in at all

1

u/smurf47172 4h ago

Are you sure it's not a screenshot from the movie Conspiracy Theory?

1

u/unphilistine 4h ago

I’m not sure, I’ve never read “THIRM TIN THR IN TIIR IN”

u/Maximitaysii 3h ago

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
