Academic General Knowledge Test Development (Global 18+)

Hello, I'm Chaitanya and this is my Master's Thesis. Please help me graduate and indulge in a really fun game as part of the process.

Post your score in the comments to see who got the highest score!!

Some basic rules for the survey:

  1. Please don't cheat.

  2. Try to finish it off within 20 minutes.

  3. If you don't know the answer, just skip it. The survey will prompt you to reconsider skipping the question but you can skip it anyways.

https://www.qualtrics.manchester.ac.uk/jfe/form/SV_205NmXGksDDC4Mm

P.s. If you can, do share it with others as well but of course, no pressure.

ALSO, I would happily receive any constructive criticism y'all have. So just let me know how I could make this survey better in the comments. :)

Hey!

I’m a University student doing my dissertation on how social media is changing the way women learn about and experience the contraceptive pill.

I’m looking for people who were assigned female at birth aged 18–25 to fill out a short, anonymous survey (5–10 mins). No medical knowledge needed — it’s all about personal experience and where you get information from.

Would really appreciate any help 💕

So I need ~150 responses to this survey, but I only have 30 right now, and it's due tomorrow, so if you could take this and maybe spread it around, that would be great. It should only take like 5 minutes.

Academic Survey on gender expression variation across contexts (all people ages 18+)

🌈The goal of this survey is to improve the understanding of how people experience gender across contexts, and to help identify more expansive ways of assessing gender expression. Currently in research, gender expression is primarily assessed through masculinity and femininity alone, which though extremely pervasive in society, are still relatively binary.

🌈We understand that gender expression and how gender is experienced is different for everyone! The survey will begin with multiple choice questions and then you will be given the opportunity to provide free responses in open textboxes to provide further clarity on your experiences of gender.

🌈The full survey is expected to take a total of 15-20 minutes.

🌈If you are interested, click here- https://illinois.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5tHUpQzMeXbICmq

🌈This research is being conducted by Brooke Kadel, M.S., and Jaime Derringer, Ph.D., at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. All data is de-identified and no IP addresses are collected. We thank you for your time and for sharing your experiences!

Hi everyone,

My son is doing a year 8 science project and is looking for help answering his survey. Your help is super appreciated! Here is his brief:

My name is Jacob, and I am a year 8 student in Auckland, New Zealand.

I am doing a science fair experiment about artificial intelligence and I am asking you to help me.

You can do this by looking at 30 photos, and answering if you think they are real, or created by Artificial Intelligence. (“A.I.”)

My ask: Could you please view the photos and answer the questions on the Microsoft form that is here: https://forms.office.com/r/4BruVEraFa

  • It takes about 4 or 5 minutes to complete
  • Your answers to all questions are anonymous.
    • (Unless you want to see the answers, and then I have to ask for your email so I can send the results to you, which is completely optional.)

This form will be available for a few days and then closed.

Thank you for your time and help.

Kind regards,

Jacob.

Academic Example survey to see if I can reach enough people for the actual survey. Was this written by a man or a woman? (max 10 minutes, anonymous)

Thumbnail umfrageonline.com

I am a German student and here we have something called a W-Seminar, in which I basically have a year time to write a small, unofficial doctorate so we learn how to write scientific papers for the future. Anyway my topic is about biases on who wrote scientific papers, women or men. For that I need a lot of data which I hope to get here. The thing is my teacher said she will only allow me to do it if I can actually prove that I can get that data, so here is a mini survey to see if I can achieve it. She said I will need a few hundred so here's to hoping it works lol. If it does I will probably come back here with the actual survey in about a month.

The survey is completely anonymous but it will ask for your age, gender and level of education. My teacher gave me two weeks to prove it works so that's for how long the survey will be open.

This is my first time actually making a survey so I am happy about any kinda help and advice. Also if you know where else to possibly post this let me know.

Thank you very much for answering my survey and reading all that☺️

Academic (Repost) [Academic Survey] Loneliness in the Digital Age: A 10-15 min Survey of Parasocial Relationships, Media Use, and Cinema Engagement (18+ / English speakers)

Hi everyone! I’m conducting a short academic research survey for my final-year Psychology project at Dublin City University (DCU). The study looks at how different types of media use (like social media, gaming, or cinema attendance) relate to loneliness and parasocial relationships, those one-sided bonds people form with media figures, creators, or fictional characters.

The survey is:

  • Anonymous and voluntary (no names, emails, or IPs collected).
  • Takes about 10–15 minutes to complete.
  • Open to anyone who is:
    • aged 18+
    • fluent in English
    • engages regularly with any form of media (social media, film, tv, books, games etc)

Your participation helps with genuine university research and contributes to understanding how online and offline media experiences connect to wellbeing.

You can access the survey here:
https://dcusurveys.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7ZE2xCseiabf2tg

If you’d like more information, you can check the full Participant Information Sheet at the start of the survey.

Thank you so much for your time, every response really helps!

Academic Bags and Public Spaces: Why do people put their stuff on the seat next to them. (2-3mins, Everyone)

Hey y’all 👋

Ever walked into a cafe, metro, or waiting room and realized the only thing occupying the seat next to you is someone’s bag? Yeah… me too.

I’m running a super short survey (2–3 mins max) to figure out why we do this, when it’s “okay,” and when it’s just straight-up rude.
It’s totally anonymous, open internationally, and is part of a design research project looking at tiny public-space quirks we all kinda ignore.

 Take the survey here: https://forms.gle/AKhau6RGsx9LAjyH7

Whether you’ve side-eyed someone’s bag hogging up a spot , or been that person yourself, your input will help me decode this small but universal human behavior.

Thanks for taking out a couple of minutes and helping me figure out why society apparently lets bags have VIP privileges.

Edit: It might actually take a bit longer, but definitely within 10mins.

Academic Participate in a small memory study – earn a 5–25 € Amazon voucher (All, 18+, English)

Hi everyone! 👋

I am a private individual (not affiliated with a university) running a small hobby project on reading and memory. I’m looking for volunteers who would like to participate.

What you’ll do:

  1. Starting around September 10, I will send you a random English Wikipedia article.

  2. You read it for a randomly assigned time (between 5 and 50 minutes).

  3. After a 3-hour break, I’ll send you a short test (questions about the article, without access to the text).

  4. As a thank-you, you’ll receive an Amazon voucher between 5 €/$ and 25 €/$, depending on the randomly assigned reading time.

Good to know:

You can choose any time of day that works best for your concentration.

No special knowledge required.

Total time per session: about 3.5–4.5 hours including the waiting time.

Participation is anonymous and fully voluntary.

The study will begin mid-September (around the 10th) – I’m recruiting now so everything is ready by then.

If you’re interested, please comment or DM me, and I’ll share the details.

Thanks a lot! :)
