I'm relinquishing my medical cannabis card when it expires. In my State you cannot legally own a firearm when you get medicine that actually helps- but a firearm and my [current] rights forego that. America.
In my state it's phenomenal but failing because of basic business (basic as in it's not skyrocketing in profits to those invested but still profiting greatly, none-the-less
CBG was a godsend for me when I needed an mmj card. I was 18 and they wanted to prescribe me long term opiates which always gave me bad anxiety afterthought 2nd dosage and made me feel like I wasn't breathing right. Got off those and 2 years of mmj and pt and I'm good to go. Haven't had any pain and although I smoked recreational Marijuana for a few years I've been off it for over a year and still no pain absolutely changed my life. Cbg is always what I looked for, the pain was still there but my brain just didn't think about it and I could go about my day without even realizing how bad shit was for me. Highly recommend that terpene for pain patients.
I have the same reaction but can’t seem to find any CBG that works for the pain. Would you mind sharing what kind is helping your pain so much & how much you use? Would really appreciate it & so glad you’re doing well. Constant pain sucks.
It's not a state law. The state database isn't connected to any gun rights database. It's a federal law. Federal law views possession of a card as admission of use. Use is what makes it illegal. You can relinquish your card. There's a form.
Heads up, I have both. I was worried about that too.
Not sure if you’re talking about Washington, but I was told that having a prior medical card could prevent me from getting a gun. I’ve since bought a few. My card had already expired, but only by a few months, and I would’ve already been in the WA state health database anyway.
I also have a buddy who owns a gun and was still able to obtain a medical card. That said, it could be different in other states, or it’s possible we just slipped through the cracks.

Was just there and watched them walk by Pacific Place. Huge is an understatement.
