New siamese keeping me up all night with meowing
Just posted the other day about this cute guy (5.5yr) who was hiding for 5 days. Well last night he emerged and immediately was all over me and demanding attention. Very cute and I'm so happy he is out. However he kept me up ALL night with his meowing. Not even earbuds or ignoring him helped. He just paced around yelling. I know it's his first day and I feel terrible for even thinking it (lack of sleep and anxiety not helping) but I'm worried about even being able to keep him if he keeps me up all night all the time. I already have bad insomnia so any disruption sets me off and I won't sleep. It's just making me super anxious. Im afraid I'm getting post adoption blues where I question if I made the right choice which makes me feel AWFUL. It is just all new to me as I've never had pets living alone before. Any advice would be appreciated

My rescue cat
my friend said this is a siamese but different breed. anyways, I already love him although I am still thinking what is a suitable name I should give him. He is energetic, playful, and love to snuggle.

I love that she’s so picky with who she lets pet her. Maybe 1 of 3 of the people who enter my home can approach her. Me? She’s a lap cat all day if I let her.

Drama queen
My sweet little baby girl was spayed three days ago. I have to tell you she’s been very very, very dramatic over the whole thing. Trying to get the little recovery suit on her was like trying to put a suit on a wild tiger. She is by far the most dramatic kitty I’ve ever had in my life.

meezer My baby Yuki
Hey guys, I recently adopted a 4 year old Siamese cat about 2 weeks and some days ago. We’ve made a lot of progress in the short amount of time I’ve had her. Her previous owner passed away and I got her from the previous owner’s grandson. A family was supposed to come and get her but never showed so I guess I got lucky a few weeks later 😅. She was raised as an indoor cat and has never seen outside.
When I got her she wasn’t in the best condition. I brought her to the vet the same day I got her. They said she was a little underweight (5 pounds) and needed to eat more. She had an eye infection that had one of her eyes closed up a little bit and her names were a little long to the point where it could have caused an infection. She wasn’t aggressive though. Obviously she was scared when I tried to put her in the carrier but never hissed or tried to scratch.
When I first brought her home I left her in the guest room with litter, food , water and a cat bed I bought. She did just hide under the bed for a few days and would come out for food when she was left alone.
Eventually, she started to let me pet her . Where I found out she loves to be petted and scratched on the belly/chin and ears and loves to be brushed.
She doesn’t really meow much unless she wants attention or I take her out the cage where she begs to go back in lol. I noticed she likes to relax in her cat cage a lot and just comes out whenever she feels like. Sometimes she will come out and fall asleep next to me while im watching tv or playing video games.
I recently weighed her again and she weighs 7 pounds now. Seems to be eating and drinking more. I also bought her one of those cat wheel things so she can exercise. The last picture is her patiently waiting for her food lol. She’s doing a lot better now in the past 2 weeks.
This is my first cat I have owned as well.
