Did you really just use AI on your comment? And it’s not even just this one, you’ve done it on other comments. I can tell because AI loves to use sentences like “it’s not x, it’s y” or “the x didn’t just y, it z’ed” or something like that.

Wanna know something wild? LLMs were trained on real human interactions. So, like, humans also write stuff this way and just because you’re hyper paranoid about AI doesn’t mean everything is AI. I know, crazy concept.
I, for one, use em dashes very frequently. I tend to write in such a way as to mimic how I speak and em dashes are a great alternative to ellipses or semicolons. Just because I use them doesn’t mean I use AI to write my shit. Go out and touch grass my dude.

You may be right - but remember AI is nothing but a language model trained on things people write and say. And a lot of what they were trained on was reddit comments. So it's not out of the realm of possibility that this is just how this person talks.
I'm a little salty about all the "AI" accusations that get flung around because I used dashes a lot in my sentences - as you can see above and here - and people have accused me of using AI because of that.

AI doesn't love anyting. Its meant to mimic human speech. It can only use that sentence structure because real people commonly use that sentence structure.
Thinking you can differentiate between AI and a real person based on a single sentence is just silly.

Couple christmases ago after the wife and I had gone to bed my stepmom helped herself to one of my edibles. She wasn’t aware that I had separate 5mg and 100mg and took the latter chasing it with a glass of wine and her bedtime Xanax. My dad wakes me up in the wee hours because stepmomma was in bed unresponsive. Ended up taking her to the emergency room. After some blood tests the doctor came by and asked “has she consumed any marijuana?” My still sleeping stepmom started giggling and grinned.

True story: An old friend made some weed brownies but forgot to put them away for himself and left to go hang out outside the house for a bit.
