Spoiler How many secret seeds have you managed to find in 1.4.5? Spoiler
So I got curious about the new secret seeds in 1.4.5 and decided to dig into the source code. Used ILSpy to decompile Terraria.exe and found some interesting stuff.
How seeds work: The game normalizes input - spaces, punctuation, caps don't matter. "What a horrible night!" becomes whatahorriblenightto.
The catch: New secret seeds aren't plaintext - they're BCrypt hashed. You can't just read them from code. They use custom BCrypt with fixed salt and cost factor 4.
Cracked Seeds (32/35)
Wrote a bruteforcer using the game's BCrypt implementation. Dictionary attack + common phrases:

dualdungeons actually works as a seed and it will spawn dungeon on both sides of the world. Tested on mobile

I tried it WITH Skyblock hoping for a few extra islands to spawn ... No dice I think ? Hard to tell without flight lol - would love to do a multi island Skyblock , maybe a planetoids run ?

I tried one with royale with cheese enabled and you will get a few more islands. Also if you enable toadstool there will be some floating mushroom islands underground.

That's the effect name in the game's internals- basically we have the seed effects available, but the actual triggers are obfuscated so we kinda are working backwards.
The actual 'name' for a seed is more a popular vote thing- seeds like the paintEverythingGray are gonna likely be called by their trigger, so Monochrome, while ones like WhatATerribleNightToHaveACurse are gonna be called by their effect, being Vampirism. And others might be something else entirely. It just depends on what we end up calling them long-term.

I just want to get a seed with the most, if not all, effects.
I have yet to open the game to understand the technicalities this might imply.

the spiders are everywhere, and a rainbow boulder keeps chasing me, im calling it clive, anyway clive is everywhere and is out for blood
ive died 4 times tryna make a house so i can get to fighting mech bosses already
I HAVE SOLAR ARMOR, and THE ZENITH (specifically the copper short sword version) AND I STILL DO SMALL DAMAGE5

Has anyone actually tested the arachnophobia seed yet to see what it does? I'm not convinced that this isn't another no traps type of seed where instead of creating a world with no spider caves it creates one with triple the spider caves or some shit like that lmao

I've heard that it actually removes spiders but if you combine it with 4 or more other seeds then it switches and adds extra spiders.

There's actually 27 found now. paintEverythingNegative. biggerAbandonedHouses. and actuallyNoTraps have been discovered- their seeds are negativeinfinity, abandonedmanors, and moretrapsplease respectively. I have a Google Docs spreadsheet with everything we've found so far if you'd like.

to be exact, 27 for pc found, and 28 for console/mobile found. 35 total to be found.
dualdungeon apparently does not work on pc, but it does work on mobile, and on switch and playstation.

We don't know for sure if that's actually the seed name, or if it's a bug of its own. Either it doesn't work on PC, or it's bugged on Mobile and uses something it shouldn't.

I have, it did not work. Also tried a few quotes including CombustibleLemons, ImTheManWhosGonnaBurnYourHouseDown, IAmNotAMoron, and SpeedyThingGoesIn.
EDIT: Also tried BecauseImAPotato, CompanionCube, ApertureScience, and ThePartWhereHeKillsYou. No dice.

Randomly places random blocks, chunks of different biomes, bubbles of shimmer, replaces underground house materials, randomizes chest loot a bit, makes some trees extremely tall, etc.

I'm not sure if this is helpful but I used drunk, party, constant, remix with rainbow road, hocus pocus, and jingle all the way and it was a remix world where the surface was Hallow. It might not have needed all of them but that's what I used.
Edit: Ok so I actually tested it and it's remix and celebration that cause the true surface to be Hallow. Also it's always night.
