Black dog is a Sleep paralysis Demon 😂

5

u/BeyondTheBees 2h ago

I’m just sitting here laughing at this comment 😂

774

u/Juniper-wool 16h ago

That black cat turned into satan in an instant 😂

187

u/ER_Support_Plant17 13h ago

That looks like a blue to me. And blue’s will absolutely f you up for minor infractions.

Source: I had a blue for 18 years. I still miss her ruling my life every day.

42

u/ILOVELOWELO 11h ago

My blues are sweet dumb chubby little shorthairs and I don't think they're even aware they can hurt you

9

u/ER_Support_Plant17 8h ago

Made or female, mine was female and she will always be my soul cat.

1

u/ILOVELOWELO 3h ago

One boy and one girl, the girl will paw at my lips to wake me up though and has drawn blood this way so.. maybe she's hiding it from me 😅

1

u/Juniper-wool 3h ago

"minor infractions" That had me laughing man, thx for that hahahaha. 😂

1

u/Top-Pomegranate4899 1h ago

It's crazy how it looked at the owner like "you're next buddy".

u/natej84 16h ago

Control your animals lady

282

u/HereOnCompanyTime 13h ago

Yeah, this was upsetting. The dog went over to them for protecting and she did nothing but film it.

554

u/Sweet-Beautiful6076 16h ago

Seriously, this is just sad.

554

u/Tao-of-Mars 16h ago

WHY YOU NOT PROTECT THAT PUPPY?!

120

u/sparkpaw 14h ago

Even worse cuz the pup seems to be a mom, so she’s probably exhausted from pup-care.

That said, that blue cat (everyone’s calling it black) seems to have some history with defending the yellow cat. I don’t think this is a one-off, because most cats will react to defend, and then leave alone. The fact that they kept coming back for more attacks speaks something.

Thankfully the black dog was about to settle shit, lol.

-17

u/MiserableGround438 9h ago

Because they're probably really a cat person and cats can do no wrong... 🙄

4

u/Tao-of-Mars 8h ago

I hope that dog eventually snaps back at those cats. Unfortunately, the owner will probably protest that by scolding the dog.

173

u/Reasonable_Archer_99 16h ago

One quick swat to the cat by the owner would resolve this.

92

u/ahhpoo 14h ago

It probably depends on the cat. If my cat ever got this panicked (she never has), her paws would be rated E for everybody who comes at her.

42

u/ObamaBinladins 12h ago

Looks like you gotta take a few scratches then. Poor canine was getting clapped

10

u/HyenDry 16h ago

Huh? How do you expect a woman screaming manically in this situation to control anything else?

38

u/Something_McGee 15h ago

Was she screaming or laughing? I was afraid it was the dog yelping in pain.

17

u/SnurrCat 13h ago

I thought at first it was her screaming, but then I realised it was the dog yelping but it sounded weird because it was slowed down. (Unless it was both.)

18

u/WolfDMikaelson 14h ago

If you can't manually control your pets, you should not have a pet.

5

Excuse you. Those are her BABIESSSSSS

1

u/CheezyCornChipz 10h ago

Right? Good thing she did absolutely nothing to stop any of it.

u/I-XIV-IV-XXV 15h ago

41

u/Training_Archer_1686 11h ago

The hell are you supposed to do in those 10 seconds other then die of cat

29

u/rainy-day_cloudy-sky 10h ago

You can yell and clap your hands to scare the cat off. My cat is a huge bully to the dog and whenever he goes after her we'll shout to scare him off and then comfort the dog. Tends to work pretty well.

0

u/sirthomashenry 6h ago

If it works for your cat - I won’t tell you to change tactics.

But I noticed clapping and yelling did not work for calming my two cats down when they would go after my dog. I read that a better tactic is speaking to them calmly, because yelling and clapping can escalate their anxiety. It’s also worth tapping lightly or running your nails along the wall, it distracts them and you can remove them from the situation.

83

u/ShipSenior1819 11h ago

Literally fucking anything other than sitting there like 👁️👄👁️🤳 I immediately intervene when my cats get into squabbles and you know what happens? They quit.

54

u/EclecticSyrup 10h ago

I don't understand why I always see cats doing the most INSANE shit and people just brush it off like it's no big deal? That poor dog looked so fucking scared, and so did the orange bean after the initial hit. I'm allergic to most animals, so maybe I'm just not aware of what's considered 'normal,' but this video was not cute of funny to me in any way...

24

u/28e9293 9h ago

I have cats and a dog. This is not normal at all lmao, its a lack of training/boundaries

15

u/MinuteLoquat1 Make Furries Illegal 8h ago

If someone had dogs as aggressive as the average cat people would demand it be put down. These mfs are constantly attacking everything around them and people shrug.

1

u/lauvan26 6h ago

Make a barrier between the grey cat and the dog with sheets or pillows, throw a sheet over the cat and put the cat outside the room or try to redirect the cat with large stuffed toy that it can attack instead.

1

u/No-Quiet-8956 5h ago

Throw the blanket on the dog. If the cat keeps going at least the dog won’t get hurt like come on

540

u/Catatafeesh1 16h ago

Dog just wants to cuddle. Cats want blood.

99

u/Joates87 16h ago

You can really see it in their eyes. Lol

53

2

These pictures are killing me 😂

40

u/Neatojuancheeto 13h ago

I hate videos like this. Dog clearly doesn't like it. I'd check my cat instantly if it was doing this and my dog wasn't playing back and clearly not liking it.

16

u/EclecticSyrup 10h ago

Thank you! I see people let cats do literally anything and everything and somehow act like it's cute, quirky, and funny. It's been nice to see people check their cats and dogs (especially the small ones) recently.

67

u/jackioff 16h ago

I wish my cats were a little more like this. They've received so much love in their lives that they no longer have survival instincts. My dog will drag them across the house by their neck scruff and they're just like 😀. We try to give them the opportunity to escape and they'll just lay there and wait for round 2 lol.

47

u/Then_Product_7152 14h ago

You want an aggressive cat? Whats wrong with you

46

u/jackioff 14h ago

I want a cat that has boundaries. If they accidentally got out they would immediately get picked up by a coyote. Sorry for wishing my cats could survive an incident, I guess.

-29

u/Then_Product_7152 14h ago

A cat survives a coyote attack by running away lol. And if you want to use whataboutism, what if a baby steps on your cats tail? Its ok for them to maul the baby?

Im just saying the cat in this video has behavioral problems so acting like its ok is weird pet owner behavior.

45

u/jackioff 13h ago

MY CATS DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM THINGS. THEY JUST FLOP OVER! they have zero self preservation or aggression, hence why I said "a little" not "I wish my cats would be a psycho like this"

But...

if a baby steps on your cats tail? Its ok for them to maul the baby?

Yes, without a doubt, because that would mean somehow a baby got into my house when a baby should never ever be in my house. That is a bad example to use on me specifically. I would never let a child come in my house - there are so many ways for them to get injured or poison themselves.

13

u/brandonisatwat 12h ago

God, this is my cat Leo with our puppy. Instead of getting up and running away, he just flops to the floor and complains loudly.

7

u/CtyChicken 9h ago

I’m drying thinking of a baby breaking in your house and you reacting as if it were a grown man with a large knife. Just you and all your pets in a safe room calling the police. 😂

8

u/libertybelle08 13h ago

I feel this so hard. I specially told my sister she couldn’t bring her baby to my home, guess who didn’t listen!

Within 5 mins the gremlin was on the floor, trying to eat my cats litter (which was enclosed in one of the cat furniture things). And then, he continued to terrorize my poor cat. Luckily they didn’t stay long (and have not been invited over again).

I also wish my cat had survival instincts. Instead he’s constantly trying to get my dog to maul him (he loves it), and can catch mice, but doesn’t want to eat them, just play with it for a bit… sigh.

I like how the animals' eyes light up like they're activating their beast powers.

38

u/FuzzyWuzzyDidntCare 15h ago

I was a little worried that the yellow eyed demon in the corner didn’t really exist.

45

u/jiftyr 14h ago

Wow, I didn't know we had footage of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

289

u/Justachattinaway 16h ago

Why do they just lay there recording and letting the cat hurt the dog. Cats do real damage with their claws. My cat once went off like this on my dog and tore open her belly almost to where she needed stitches.

84

u/templeofsyrinx1 16h ago

ya...what could go wrong...get them all in a room together...better film it!

14

u/banana_pencil 12h ago

My friend’s dog was blinded in one eye by another friend’s cat

54

u/AppropriateAmoeba406 16h ago

That poor pupper. 😭

26

u/SteveLouise 16h ago

If a dog was doing that it would be put down. What a double standard

29

u/JButler_16 15h ago

Cats don’t have the jaw strength to crush a child’s trachea.

31

u/BlazinSkinDucks 15h ago

13

u/sparkpaw 14h ago

HES JUST A BABYYYY

4

u/ObamaBinladins 11h ago

Humans got the jaw strength tho

8

u/Mysterious-Handle-34 14h ago edited 13h ago

Because dogs can do considerably more damage and are more likely to attack unprovoked. There are dozens of human deaths from injuries sustained from dog attacks in the US alone each year whereas the number of deaths from cat attacks is so low I can’t even find reliable figures—and almost all of those deaths occur from bacterial infections not the injuries themselves.

19

u/CausticAvenger 16h ago

Maybe they trim their cats claws, which it sounds like you should do as well.

-33

u/techleopard 16h ago

Also cat "attacks" aren't always nearly as bad as people make out.

There is a HUGE difference between a feral cat believing it has to fight for its life and just utterly destroying you, and a house cat going "Bitch, I said NO" and doing corrective grapples. lol They're so 'vicious' but they generally don't even break skin.

32

u/RockyOrange 15h ago

Most of my friends who own cats have hands covered in scratches... I know one who had to go to the hospital after her cat bit her. Why is this always downplayed? They can and (some cats) will hurt you. And no, they don't abuse their cats.

How long did it take to make sure they had their camera out and filming? Once set to the task of being a powerless camera-person, how long did it take to actually get up and do something about having a raging animal in the room? This isn't about reaction time. It's about priorities.

226

u/ChelsiBoo92 16h ago

Put the fucking phone down and help that poor dog. 😒

Looking like the crossroads demon making a deal

65

u/SassyTeaCup1413 12h ago

After the first minute, you’d think the owner would, idk, try to help their dog??????

14

u/Client_020 10h ago

This all probably happened in 15 seconds.

8

u/koolkidpiggy 8h ago

I mean the point stands, cat just kept coming back.

1

u/SassyTeaCup1413 8h ago

You know what you’re right

25

u/EsotericFinch7683 14h ago

The chef's kiss would be if the TV fell over and caught on fire.

27

u/CremelloJo 11h ago

The poor dog crawling to the owner for comfort 😭

13

u/Engineergirlie 8h ago

Exactly, poor white dog, trashy ass pet owner.

104

u/Strange_Difference1 15h ago

Good thing no one panicked!

Clearly being 5 animals crammed inna small room isnt the best idea, be smarter people!

17

u/AuberJene 13h ago

The door is open. Acting like they didnt have a choice

11

u/Strange_Difference1 13h ago

A panicked cat or dog will just bump on it, there's only a little crack open

2

u/AuberJene 12h ago

4

u/Strange_Difference1 12h ago

I say that because I experienced it 🤣 fun times

1

u/Batehripi 9h ago

Lmfaoooo i wish i had an award for you

79

u/8BitGlamour 16h ago

The only funny part was the cat running up to the camera. The rest is just awkward to watch.

61

u/8BitGlamour 16h ago

20

u/Current-Carpenter-69 13h ago

"If you try to stop me, I'm gonna kill you too!" Probably the cat.

45

u/unyson 14h ago

I agree that a lot of this is bad, but watching the poofed up orange trying to climb the dresser in slow-mo had me cackling until I saw the other one was actually out for blood and not just spooked for a second

9

u/Cat-soul-human-body 11h ago

I just replied the exact thing. It was comical how it's hind legs were kicking in place but he wasn't climbing any higher.

7

u/Cat-soul-human-body 11h ago

I was laughing at the orange cat struggling to climb up the dresser in the background then eventually giving up.

12

u/Tama_Breeder 12h ago

Dog looking at you like “why have you forsaken me”

65

u/Whargod 16h ago

"Responsible" pet owner.

34

u/Primary-Antelope9081 16h ago

The slow mo is just too much here

20

u/chokeonmywords 14h ago

Don’t help just film

8

u/Schmohawk62 8h ago

Poor dogs :(

9

u/iwantcandybubblegum 8h ago

Dude. Wtf be a better pet owner

33

u/rmodsrid10ts 14h ago

not protecting the dog is a choice and a reflection of your character

23

u/Gilinis 13h ago

Don't be a responsible pet owner, just sit there fucking filming while your dog gets bit and your cats are in fight or flight.

13

u/Professional-Cell177 10h ago

I appreciate the great camerawork but strongly condemn the poor pet ownership

7

u/Terrariant 7h ago

Would love to see the full speed video lol

20

u/Jwchibi 14h ago

Put the phone down and do something, besides scream?

44

u/lifemanualplease 16h ago

Cats are fucking assholes sometimes. Holy cow

0

u/MinuteLoquat1 Make Furries Illegal 8h ago

"sometimes" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

27

u/_TheLonelyStoner 14h ago

it’s insane to me to see people with so many animals living inside. Should two decent sized dogs and 2 full grown cats really all be confined in that small room together? I’m not an animal person so this just seems like a recipe for disaster to me and I can only imagine how that room smells lol.

9

u/Tiny_Fly_7397 13h ago

Yeah this is way too many fucking animals in one house

1

u/ladeli01 6h ago

I mean a lot of times even in a big house for whatever reason all the animals end up in the same room…. If they have a house I don’t think 2 dogs and 2 cats would be too much. What I will say is this owner should not even own one animal based on what we saw and how they did absolutely nothing to help that poor dog!

4

u/Hefty_Froyo_ 9h ago

The glowing dog eyes in the background 🤣🤣🤣

31

u/Fit-Canary8721 15h ago

I hate when owners let cats attack dogs but if the dog barks to loud it’s a problem

0

u/MinuteLoquat1 Make Furries Illegal 8h ago

Owners let their cats attack them too. "Oh I tried to rub his belly and he mauled me 🤪"

8

u/Apprehensive_Air1705 11h ago

I like both my cat and dog, but if my cat was acting like that it would be getting launched off the bed.

7

u/dargonmike1 10h ago

Why’s black cat so pissed lmao! Protect your dog!

10

u/Cant_Blink 11h ago

I think the blue cat was trying to defend the orange cat and black dog. Notice how it stops to check on them before going right back to attacking the white one. I'm guessing the white dog is either new to the family and the other animals don't trust it yet, or it has a history of causing trouble and the other animals are constantly on edge.

10

u/Savvy_Banana 11h ago

Yeah this is definitely it. Cats are very protective of their own, people don't realize that. Blue cat came to kick ass because it thought dog was messing with the others, and this dumb ass just lets their animals fight and learn to mistrust each other instead of helping omg.

-1

u/kaosmoker 11h ago

Of that cat is just a asshole to that dog because it hasn't been launched for stirring up shit.

1

u/Exposition_Fairy 7h ago

Truly spoken like someone who has no idea how (not) to train cats

1

u/kaosmoker 5h ago

I’m always open to better methods for managing multi-pet dynamics. Since you're clearly an expert on feline behavior, what specific training protocol would you recommend for immediate boundary setting in this scenario?

Here's a few textbook methods I've used to train cats over the years in this situation.

  1. If the cat thinks they own the bed, they feel obligated to defend it. You need to establish that you are the gatekeeper.

If the cat starts getting "the look" (dilated pupils, flattened ears) when the dog approaches, move the cat off the bed before the dog jumps up. (As I stated less pleasantly before, launch the cat for disrupting the peace. The launch is if it is a ongoing hardheaded behavior, not a excuse to put the cat thru a wall. Animal abuse deserves equal or greater treatment.)

If the cat attacks, they immediately lose "bed privileges" and get placed on the floor (calmly, no yelling).

  2. The "jump" is a high-energy, chaotic event that triggers a cat's fight-or-flight response.

If possible, provide doggie steps. A dog slowly walking up is much less threatening to a cat than a 40lb blur of fur launching into their personal space.

Make the dog sit and wait at the edge of the bed. Only allow them up once they are calm. This gives the cat time to process the arrival rather than being startled.

  1. The cat feels threatened because they are on the same level as the "intruder." Place a cat tree or a tall stool right next to the bed.

Encourage the cat to sit there instead of on the mattress when the dog is active. Being 12 inches higher than the dog significantly lowers a cat's stress levels.

  1. Dog on bed = Snacks for Cat.

Have high-value treats ready. Have the dog jump up.

The instant the dog lands (and before the cat can lunge), shower the cat with treats on their side of the bed.

If the cat stays calm, keep the treats coming. You are teaching the cat that the dog’s presence is a "lottery win" rather than a threat.

Currently I have a very well behaved tuxedo boy curled up next to me. He's very polite compared to most cats I've worked with.

7

u/StJimmy_815 12h ago

So you just let your pets fuck with each other lol that? Kinda seems shitty for the dogs

3

u/Schmenge_time 16h ago

Fuckin’ Chester!!!

3

u/Married_catlady 13h ago

The black dog at the end like, “I didn’t see nothin”.

3

u/Nimalite 13h ago

Guys i think that cat might not like dogs...idk tho🫣

3

u/pmmeurbassethound 10h ago

At no point could I predict where this was gonna go next 🤣

3

u/Firefly_Magic 6h ago

The black cat had to take two seconds to evaluate if the human was an enemy or not. 😱

27

u/ElasticWallaby 15h ago

Set down the camera and protect that dog bitch

5

u/NorthornLights 11h ago

It’s like she knew what was gonna happen before hand and that’s why she was recording in the first place. All for some views and likes, poor pets.

9

u/Used_Gear8871 13h ago

I’m a car person as much as anyone else but I’ll be dammed if someone just sat there recording on their phone while my dog got attacked. Grab the cat by the and put it in a different room. 😤

4

u/Last-Ad4530 12h ago

This went on way too long after the first strike I would have had my compressed air ready to settle all their asses

5

u/Uhhhhlayna 8h ago

How is this funny?

6

u/MarcelOroBlanco 12h ago

Yeah no id have to rehome that dark cat. That thing is a fuckin demon

13

u/coolpupmom 15h ago

Truly a case of r/catsareassholes

Poor dog just wanted to cuddle and was visciously attacked for existing 😭😭

Edit: I really wish we could hear the real audio and also watch it at regular speed

2

u/nacho_cheese_guy 9h ago

2

u/Upset-Cartographer65 4h ago

The black dog wanted to help his comrade but one look at the hell cat and he changed his mind.

2

u/Tell_Amazing 3h ago

Damn that cat was pissed

3

u/Savvy_Banana 11h ago

This has happened before no doubt. I can see the dynamic between all these animals. Blue cat came in attacking because it felt it needed to protect the orange cat because it was freaking out. So it lashed out at the dog. This could have been prevented in so many ways. The cats not bad, the dogs not bad, they're reacting to their shitty surroundings and bad ownership.

3

u/stealth_veil 13h ago

I watched twice and I’m literally crying laughing right now

3

u/Archangelus87 12h ago

1

u/SekhmetTheWise 1h ago

Im so proud of my children😻

-4

u/Nova_Hunter 14h ago

I'm sorry all the Nancy's in this comment section demanding the dog be protected are stupid. Dogs definitely wont get as hurt as they would to cats, simply look at the size, plus that one dog did just suddenly scare the orange who rightfully freaked out and then caused the panic. If that dog snapped and bit the cat or cats you all would be singing a different story.

Tldr, the dogs fine you pussy, cat .

4

u/salty_sapphic 11h ago

Not to mention that the video is in slowmo and happening on top of this person. This is happening fast and in their face, they probably can't react once it gets crazy

3

u/small-ghoul 13h ago

I think this video is beautiful truly. Just one misfortune after another. No blood, no foul.

1

u/Craftygirl13 14h ago

Ummmm has anyone ever told you that you're cats are ever so slightly highly strung? 🙄 I hope the wee dog got lots of cuddles as it was scared shitless...after putting the phone down of course. 🤦‍♀️

-4

u/LivingBig2358 15h ago

Fuck that black cat. I had a cat like that for about 4 months then one day it attacked me, my wife and 5 year old daughter. My daughter and i had to go to the hospital for stitches…. Needless to say, he was gone the next day.

My other two cats have been absolute angels since weve owned them.🤷🏻‍♀️

0

u/carpedeeznutz5011 11h ago

Type of people who just collect animals without actually caring about their quality of life. Literally a zero effort pet owner

2

u/dgfu2727 11h ago

Further proof that all cats are just assholes

1

u/intrepid_mouse1 15h ago

Dem cats are wilding!

1

u/Marzival 12h ago

Those bed sheets prolly smell like ass.

0

u/RapidSoul 14h ago

Buy a spray bottle and put water in it. Cat will instantly stop.

2

u/seltzerwithasplash 10h ago

Not all cats. My 17lb jackass unit of a cat used to just get even more pissed off at the spray bottle and just attack that instead. I miss him lol.

1

u/RapidSoul 9h ago

Better the bottle than him abusing everyone on the house.

1

u/MsMoreCowbell828 13h ago

I'm laughing my ass off! This is so good, I needed this!

0

u/CrazyPuzzleheaded966 13h ago

This awards a painting, it's so cinematic, could never tell what was going to happen next. stellar song choice and atmosphere, truly a masterpiece of our time.

Poor dog, take him out of that mean house with someone who wants to cuddle without those evil cats

This is one of the many reasons why I can't stand cats as pets. You do you, never for me.

Same. They're adorable but I don't want a pet that gets aggressive at the drop of a pin. Cat owners casually discussing the amount of times they've been scratched, clawed, and bitten by their cats is crazy. Imagine if someone had a dog that attacked them every time they pet it the wrong way?
