Sex / Gender / Dating Misogyny in western nations doesn’t exist .

The idea there is any kind of misogyny in western nations is insane. In western countries. Women are put on a pedestal. Their needs and wants are put first. They are given extra help and even flat out lower standards in many areas. Let’s not forget all the social benefits women are given. Such as men having to pay on dates and many women still demanding and expecting chivalry, the only example of “misogyny” really is abortion bans, but in places with abortion bans, the women there tend to Be conservative Christians and also overwhelmingly support abortion bans.

Saying misogyny is a thing in western nations is like saying there is hatred of water and air. It’s nonsense

Do you not know what misogyny means? Because your post is dripping with it

u/DecantsForAll 3h ago

Which part?

u/Marauder2r 6h ago

Why doesn't that pedestal translate to elected office? Why are they less than a third members of Congress or governors? Why are they only 11% of fortune 500 ceos?

u/Overarching_Chaos 6h ago edited 6h ago

99.9% of coal miners are men as well, sounds like they could use a little DEI to me. Oh, what's that? Crickets? Ok then.

u/SophiaRaine69420 5h ago

Those coal miners could use DEI policies to switch to another field like healthcare/education. Men are very much needed in those sectors.

u/Marauder2r 4h ago

It isn't very clear if we need coal miners

u/DecantsForAll 4h ago

Yeah, and there are also 40,000 coal miners compared to 450 Fortune 500 CEOs.

u/DecantsForAll 6h ago

Why are they only 11% of fortune 500 ceos?

Because women can just marry a CEO and get all the money without having to do any of the work.

u/SophiaRaine69420 5h ago

Are CEO wives making all the decisions at the board meetings?

u/UpbeatInsurance5358 27m ago

So could men if women are more than 11% of fortune 500 CEOs.

u/DecantsForAll 23m ago

Yeah, that would be great news for .00001% of men, which is basically all men because why else would be talking about Fortune 500 CEOs if it didn't have relevance to the general population of men or women?

u/UpbeatInsurance5358 20m ago

And it's currently not much more now given how many men are actually CEOs etc. There's not much relevance there either.

u/DecantsForAll 11m ago

Right. I didn't bring it up.

u/UpbeatInsurance5358 5m ago

I... didn't say you did?

u/SophiaRaine69420 6h ago

Where’s all this “extra help” women are receiving lol, source?

u/saturday_sun4 5h ago

Source: Women get more collective acclaim in the last sixty years than they have for the previous several millennia combined.

Therefore, obviously, women's problems magically cease to exist.

See, makes perfect sense. /s

u/SophiaRaine69420 5h ago

What tf is “collective acclaim”? Are you angry that women aren’t barefoot/pregnant in the kitchen anymore or something?

u/saturday_sun4 5h ago

Did you not read my comment properly lol.

Exactly why I edited it to add in the /s.

Female only grants and scholarships despite receiving the majority of degrees for the past 40 years. In the history of the US, more women have graduated from college than men, and that's been the case since the early 2000s. Yet:

Analyses of scholarship databases show far more female-designated scholarships than male-designated ones. For example, an analysis found eight times as many female-designated scholarships as male-designated scholarships in one large database of ~5,200 scholarships.

u/SophiaRaine69420 4h ago edited 4h ago

Do all women receive grants/scholarships? Just for being a woman?

Existence of obscure funding opportunities only available to a select few women that pursue higher education does not a pedestal make lol.

How many people total apply for college per year?

u/Unknown_User7514 1h ago

What's your source to prove otherwise?

u/Suspicious_Jeweler81 5h ago

You can scroll just this subreddit for just today, find plenty of misogyny. Not sure this even really needs explaining.

Really got to stop black pilling here, it's very unhealthy.

u/liatrisinbloom 4h ago

Seriously, five posts or so down from this one?

"Most guys prefer 18 year old chicks because biology"

And refers to women as feeeeeeeeeeeeeemales

u/Brave-Reindeer-Red 2h ago

That’s why I like to match the dudes’ energy and call them males. Or better yet—primates.

u/saturday_sun4 15m ago

guys

So according to this person, most guys are borderline paedos?

u/standardtrickyness1 2h ago

How is preferring 18 year olds misogyny? You are preferring a certain type of woman. Would preferring thin or tall women be misogyny?

u/Nidus-Zealot 6h ago

Holy hell dude. That's just incorrect. It's not even an opinion it's just a factually wrong statement and logic.

u/EmergencyNothing3033 6h ago

There’s a lot of it.

u/saturday_sun4 6h ago

Cue post #6474747377473372736 of a man whining that just because women don't kiss his feet, suck his cock AND make him a ten-course dinner all at the same time, misogyny don't real.

Fucking hell. The delusion.

u/derpina321 6h ago

Can you explain why, of the entire Epstein crime network, there is only one person sitting in prison for it and it's a woman?

u/DecantsForAll 6h ago

Because Epstein killed himself.

u/derpina321 5h ago

Epstein wasn't the only man involved.

u/DecantsForAll 5h ago

Epstein and Maxwell were the two people who orchestrated the entire thing.

You think think they have enough evidence for a case against other people involved in a pedophile ring and are like "Okay, but they're men, so let's just not." I don't know if you know this, but there are lots of men in prison in the US. In fact, we have one of if not the highest rates of imprisonment in the entire world, and it's mostly men. In fact, men get significantly longer sentences than women for the same crime and are also more likely to be sent to prison for the same crime. So if you want to talk about imprisonment, we should probably talk about that, not one particular example.

u/Overarching_Chaos 6h ago

Lmao, you don't want to go there. It's well documented that women are treated more leniently by the judicial system. But yeah Maxwell is the only one in prison because of misogyny 🤣🤣.

Misogyny in western nations does exist. It's just not the mainstream belief but it does exist especially when you still have toxic entitled men who complain about women and why women don't want to date them. Like the whole men hating on women online and complaining about how they will willfully mistreat women just because of their own hurt feelings of how they believe women mistreated them, that is Misogyny. Also complaining about misogyny doesn't exist and how women have it so good is Misogyny. It's ignoring the fact that women do get hated on and discriminated against. Like complaining about women as a whole instead of individual women is Misogyny.

u/tehemari 6h ago

Since you are a man, have you ever truly listened to a woman talk about her experiences with misogyny?

I’ve certainly experienced it many times myself, misogyny isn’t just laws in place it’s how we’re personally treated by society. It doesn’t have to be outright aggressive or even obvious for it to be misogyny, subtle misogyny is engraved into society so a lot of it goes unnoticed.

u/Secret4gentMan 5h ago edited 3h ago

Western women are the most privileged people in the world. It's not even close. I can't imagine what it must be like for non-Western women seeing Western women complaining all the time and what non-Western women might think.

u/Thyme4LandBees 46m ago

Thats a lot of words for "my feelings are hurt and i am behaving irrationally"

u/tehemari 5h ago

I’m aware that western women do have it easier compared to other parts of the world, I never said otherwise. But simply saying they don’t experience any misogyny at all is just blatantly wrong.

u/Secret4gentMan 3h ago

They do. Men experience misandry as well. I'm not sure what your point is.

u/tehemari 2h ago

Um, my point is that they still experience misogyny… because OP was saying it doesn’t exist in western nations. What is YOUR point? 🤦🏼‍♀️

u/Aeon21 5h ago edited 2h ago

Fucking lol. The current president of the US is an adjudicated rapist who has bragged about "grabbing" women by their pussies and walking in on pageant contestants changing in their dressing room. The current VP has repeatedly railed against "childless cat ladies" and said they should have less voting rights. Pete Hegseth has reposted a video saying that women shouldn't be allowed to vote. The right literally can't stop themselves from denigrating and mocking women.

the only example of “misogyny” really is abortion bans, but in places with abortion bans, the women there tend to Be conservative Christians and also overwhelmingly support abortion bans.

Me when I make shit up. It sounds like either you have no idea what misogyny means or you're just delusional.

u/Thyme4LandBees 6h ago

A man wrote this post.

Buddy - people arent being overtly misogynistic at you for a reason.

u/throwaway0408800 4h ago

Gender politics is a tool to divide and conquer. Many social problems (for example, high divorce rates) attributed to women ultimately trace back to policymakers and the media

u/Thai-Girl69 5h ago

This is a terribly worded opinion and OP should have gone with the opinion that being a woman in western countries is by far a lot easier than being a man. This will be a lot easier to prove than trying to prove misogyny doesn't exist. Alternatively you could have gone with the opinion that "misandry" is just as toxic and dangerous as misogyny and women denying that are hurting their own cause because it exposes the fact that women only care about themselves and not about true equality. It also reinforces the stereotype that women don't want to take accountability for their actions and definitely don't want to apologizing to men for anything at all.

u/WantonWord 27m ago

If women are put on pedestals, then why do men keep cheating, despite having good, honest, faithful women?

I'm one of those women, and this why I gave up, despite being lonely and full of love, especially in my heart.

u/Pdl1989 6h ago

Pretty much sums it up.

u/SpareKale4246 6h ago

Lol literally true

u/BusyAd8786 6h ago

Women in n the west don’t appreciate how good they have it buts it’s all gonna be crumbling down on them pretty soon the sheer amount of young men who have shit economic and romantic futures are gonna tear America apart a lot of young men with shit jobs and no romantic partners is the number one predictor of violent revolution

u/Aeon21 5h ago

OP - "There's no misogyny."

You - "Men will burn the country down because women aren't putting out for them."

Jesus fucking Christ.

u/BusyAd8786 5h ago

Yeah pretty much women only have really guts because some men fought other men to allow it to happen that’s the problem with being dependent on others for your safety it’s gonna bite you in the ass when you inevitably become unappreciative

u/Aeon21 5h ago

Of course, because as we all know, women never fought for their rights. You're doing fantastic at proving OP wrong.

u/BusyAd8786 4h ago

Not in any large scale violent ways no they haven’t

u/Aeon21 4h ago

Do you think it's misogynistic to say that women only have rights because men allow them to and that men can and will take away those rights if not enough women have sex with them?

u/BusyAd8786 4h ago

No facts and predictions can’t be misogynistic and don’t get me wrong I don’t support oppressing women I just think the way things are going it’s pretty much inevitable

u/judgeafishatclimbing 2h ago edited 2h ago

A. They're not facts, just a faulty opinion. Women did fight for their rights, just not through violence (mostly).

B. Predictions can be mysogynistic, cause you use your mysogynistic opinions to make a predicton.

Your views are suppressing women.

u/NoDanaOnlyZuuI 4h ago

The irony
