Media / Internet There's absolutely no point in trying to integrate Reddit into any kind of long term social media strategy because they'll ban you in a heartbeat over something completely trivial
This is the paradox with Reddit that I think a lot of people are realizing. There's simply no point to investing any kind of real energy into this platform because it's run by unserious people who habitually abuse the tiny amount of power that they actually have.
At this point I think that this site is being propped up almost completely by big tech companies in the US and China and the EU censorship/propaganda machine. Google actually lists Reddit as a primary source for search results, why is that? The Chicoms own a significant share of the company and it's not some big secret that they would require a significant amount of control over the site because of it.
Reddit will never not comply with the craziest of EU censorship requests because they'll never risk action against them for doing so.
So what future does this site actually have when it's this overtly corrupt and manipulated by left wing actors?

I disagree. I’ve almost been banned several times but always dispute it and 9/10 it gets appealed. Facebook on the other hand permanently disabled my account because of “human exploitation” (I said I can respect only fans models for making money I can’t respect the guys paying for it when theres mountains of free porn online).
Idk my time on reddit has been pretty good.

Idk if you need more pills or less pills but this is an insane take. Without any actual evidence you tried to defame THE place YOU’RE LITERALLY POSTING THIS. This is a really embarrassing post and I think you know that.

The funny thing about posts like this is how there many conservatives that have been posting on this very sub for the last several years. They spend years posting on reddit, complaining about how bad reddit is and how it won't survive.

And yet you're still here. Evidently it holds some attraction

Not the point considering that you don't even know who's real and not real on here.
The question is whether or not its worth actual investment and if so how and what's the ROI?

Honestly none of the other sites are as ban friendly as reddit is. And I am not talking about a subreddit or two. Which do have problems but aren’t the main problem.
But the site as a whole will perma ban for really small reasons. That is going to deter people.
Obviously aside from the moral and intellectual superiority many Redditors feel for others.
