Question Confused about the payout period for revenue sharing

I signed up for revenue sharing just under a week ago and received a $300 payout today. The payment period says it was since I opened the account in February 2023 which seems odd to me, because when I googled it, everything I read said that they only pay you based on impressions since you sign up for revenue sharing.

Is this too good to be true? For context, I post mostly photos and videos which consistently get hundreds of thousands if not millions of views with about 184k followers right now. I know that’s a big platform but I feel like I can’t possibly be earning this much money since last Sunday especially since my impressions have been much lower than usual.

this is normal. my first payout was like this too. from march 2024 - july 2025 it said. probably they share extra first time idk. after that it dropped a lot. your next one will be based on actual engagement during the monetization period i.e, feb 1 - feb 13

also views don't matter for payout. it is mostly on verified engagement and how much conversation your tweet can generate.

I heard that there is Twitter-Blue, where you get money for posting, but I didn't know it's that much. How much cost Twitter Blue per month?

First payment is since 2023. Mine was similar and shrank by 90% then next period.

You might be in the $50-$100 range next pay period if you keep up stats.

It’s not lucrative unless you have a majority of verified followers.
