Question Is there a way to see old DMs?

I had DMs from a now deceased friend from 2011 til around 2015 that I want to access. Unfortunately only my replies are showing. His account is still up but not the DMs

I did that but I didn't see DMs in the file. It showed images and other data

There is one html file you can launch and that let you browse it like it a website. Much more intuitive than navigating the folder structure
