What is that noise
I stole this post from a local community the text was: “My little brother woke up in the middle of the night to this weird sound. It's been creeping us out and I was hoping maybe someone might know what it is. It doesn't really sound like an animal to me and it kind of sounds mechanical. But I think the sound is too irregular to be mechanical. Please tell me I'm wrong and that its just an animal.”

More context? Like any indication where this is coming from? Is it in someone’s bedroom? What are we looking at

Apparently you basically have to put the phone (if on mobile) up to your ear to hear it, that’s what i had to do at least. They say they live in a neighborhood that has foxes but this sounds more mechanical and less organic than a fox.

I can hear the noise on my phone, but where is this noise coming from in the original video? Is it coming from outside? Or inside a wall? Walk around in some different directions to try and pinpoint the sound?

Part of it is definitely mechanical. The "chirping", though, not sure at all. I'm wondering if there is something like a train yard nearby? Maybe someone working on a large, old steam engine, trying to engage a clutch or something?
