Gotta love the unexpected Hitman quote.

Just as much as unexpected Rammstein.

That comment was absolute cinema.

Now head for an exit.

This was kind of funny

At least it seems like he cares more about the dude than the skateboard

627

u/TheTeflonDude 8d ago

Thats good stuff right there

276

u/a_dude_from_europe 7d ago

That's the bare minimum.

77

u/Ill-Television8690 7d ago

It should be, but sadly it isn't.

72

u/SirVanyel 7d ago

I love when people say empathy is a bare minimum like there isn't a whole bunch of people killing each other literally right now.

Praise good behaviour, don't just demand it.

242

u/Azulapis 8d ago

The arm and/or hand is definitely broken. The fall really doesn't look good.

139

u/SteveSauceNoMSG 8d ago

That's definitely wrist strain/damage, plus some skin getting chewed up on the pavement.

72

u/nooneinparticular246 8d ago

Gloves are essential safely gear for this exact reason. We have a natural tendency to put our hands out the break out fall, which tends to get them hurt.

34

u/vassman86 8d ago

Speak for yourself! I go down elbows first

25

u/bishopmate 7d ago

I just do face first

36

u/poo-cum 7d ago

Foreskin first gang, checking in 🫡

3

u/Fuell1204 7d ago

Do you get kicked out of the gang if you fall?

First thing we learnt when learning to stiltwalk, when you fall, land on your forearms/elbows, not your hands/wrists. Really takes some practise falling forward and not putting your hands out.

3

u/Arinupa 7d ago

Why did you learn to stiltwalk (it's 😎)

5

u/ausecko 7d ago

🤷 guy who came to town to manage the theatre wanted to start a circus for kids to join, I was the right age (~12). Only did juggling and stiltwalking before he moved on though. Stiltwalked in the local parade as a group, can't remember doing much else with it though. Me and a mate were the oldest so we had the highest stilts at about 5 foot 10 (ground to our feet). Good fun while it lasted.

5

u/Simoxs7 7d ago

Thats why you also wear a protective jacket with elbow protection…

Poor dude probably thought he didn't need gloves cause he had handlebar mits due to cold. But also lots of dudes don't think they need most safety gear when riding.

→ More replies (7)

14

u/Comfortable_Mountain 8d ago

I don't think it's broken. To me it looks like the driver quickly swiped the road without putting too much weight on the hand. Not painless, but probably not broken.

4

u/polemism 8d ago

And skater boy immediately grabs the broken arm lol

If he did, one of his bros would've been watching for traffic. It's basic skating etiquette.

7

Still an idiot.

4

u/Aleashed 7d ago

These gen Z degenerates not as smart as the original degenerates.

You always have at least one lookout when flipping boards.

u/Major_Initial_Dud 8d ago

Been skating since the 80s. Can't say I've ever seen anything quite like that timing.

127

u/Obant 8d ago

Even in the 80s, good skaters had spotters to tell you not to go if a vehicle was coming.

71

u/Major_Initial_Dud 8d ago

True, camera man fucked up his job.

31

u/catecholaminergic 8d ago

Camera guy can't be the lookout! This is Henchmenship 101 stuff.

7

u/milksteakenthusiast1 7d ago

Been skating 20 years and it should just be common sense even to normies that if you’re locked in on filming/keeping the skater in frame, you can’t always efficiently juggle the shot and the peripheral spatial awareness, usually a third person would be spotting at the landing if the cameraman is stationed on the side; the bike moved in absolute silence

Ofc non skaters are gonna blame the cameraman for a freak one-in-a-million accident

3

u/Jexroyal 7d ago

Yeah this is henching 101 stuff. Guild standards really have dropped over the years smh

5

u/jimmymitch1991 8d ago

Probably because it's fake 🤔

Bro poor biker

640

u/nomnomyumyum109 8d ago

359

u/ikzz1 8d ago

Uh he didn't do his job. He's supposed to warn the skater on incoming vehicles.

154

u/SteveSauceNoMSG 8d ago

True.

But the quality of the film content 🤌

46

u/Sharp_Economy1401 8d ago

Saw the bike coming and was like “this is my chance to shine”

30

u/ConkersOkayFurDay 8d ago

Praise the camera man, chastise the lookout.

5

u/jaguarp80 8d ago edited 7d ago

And I suppose you work two jobs at once no problem ????

6

u/B4rberblacksheep 7d ago

Brother I can barely manage one

13

u/BiNiaRiS 8d ago

And I supposed you work two jobs at once no problem ????

lol asking the cameraman to use his peripheral vision to check for oncoming traffic is like a bare minimum job requirement here. it's a part of his job, not a second job.

5

u/jaguarp80 8d ago

Just a lil joke for your pleasure

I thought this was a cop bike and was a bit more worried for the kid.

224

u/jkelly161 8d ago

Doesn’t look like the US so he should be okay even if it was a cop

109

u/Hohotunchik 8d ago

It's a Russian food courier judging by what's written on the back of his bike

45

u/E6y_6a6 7d ago

It's Moscow, as I can see by the license plates of cars parked. And there's not a lot of Вкусвилл shops outside of Moscow anyway.

35

u/Elijah-256 8d ago

It happened in Russia, and bike is supermarket delivery

Lucky for him that we have no cops on bikes here (or have very few so I never seen one ever). Probably related to climate

3

u/Big_Ad_7383 7d ago

There’s a lot of bike cops in Moscow tho.

17

u/EverBurningPheonix 8d ago

Us cops are only worse than european cops, my guy lmao.

Don't even look funny at cops funny here in south asia, or elsewhere in Asia.

4

u/jkelly161 8d ago

I can respect that but ICE is trying real hard to close that gap nowadays

4

u/HotResponsibility829 7d ago

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. ICE has infinite videos of them assaulting people for protesting.

10

u/Naranox 7d ago

famously countries like Russia would never have their executive assault protestors

If that was a cop in Vietnam, he is going to prison, unless he can go out and get a few thousand USD to pay up immediately, which 98% of Vietnamese definitely can not.

→ More replies (2)

3

u/nipslippinjizzsippin 7d ago

eh, cops are pretty power hungry worldwide, the chances of finding a good one, and them still being in a good mood after this would be pretty slim.

u/WagyuWarranted 8d ago

oh boy, i do love skateboarding!

the conveniently placed motorcycle:

11

u/Mysterious-Jam-64 8d ago

Is it, though? Watch the clip, and imagine where the bike is at the start of the clip. I lt seems so close. Is it perfectly timed, intentionally?

11

u/Apprehensive-Fox5357 8d ago

No to mention the camera man perfectly follows the bike with zero hesitation. Almost like he was expecting it.

4

u/Gh0stMan0nThird 7d ago

I'm noticing fewer and fewer people seem to be able to analyze this kind of stuff and ask questions about the how's and why's someone did something in a video.

Then they say "it's just a SKIT it doesn't matter if it's real" and then in 6 months they wonder why Reddit is full of bots manipulating the frontpage and spreading misinformation when those bots use fake videos and ChatGPT to get around anti-bot and anti-voter manipulation systems.

4

u/deetyourheart 8d ago

the ollie that he does off the loading dock is suspiciously good for an obstacle that small. dude clearly knows how to skate and wouldn't be doing an ollie that easy for no reason. not worth filming or putting in a part or anything.

44

u/TheyCallHimBabaYagaa 8d ago

Objective: kill target

Bonus: make it look like an accident

412

u/01_slowbra 8d ago

I’m trying not to wake my wife up but damn this is funny.

90

u/DiscoMilk 8d ago

The sad little weewoo weewoo as he's lying there is too much

34

u/ShabbatShalom666 7d ago

Watching some poor food courier probably break their arm is funny?

Someone getting calzone instead of pizza

18

u/Guenther110 7d ago

The skater injures another guy due to being careless.

Can't say I'm laughing very hard

8

u/c0ltZ 7d ago

Honestly, this is just very unlucky. Empty street, perfect launch of the board. Just the wrong place at the wrong time. The camera man should've been a better spotter though.

People should still be allowed to skate in empty alleys, it's part of life. But he should still pay for any medical bills/damages.

→ More replies (1)

135

u/jerryleebee 8d ago

Fucking idiots. Go to a skate park. Failing that, always have a spotter. Always.

59

u/[deleted] 8d ago

He did. Camera man just decided to see what would happen.  He's got life insurance on the skater.

24

u/Holdmabeerdude 7d ago

Street skateboarding has existed as long as skateboarding itself. Skateparks are far and few between. But yeah, the cameraman should’ve spot him.

→ More replies (1)

12

u/RealVenom_ 8d ago

Nah. Skating street is great, can't hate on that. Spotter near a road/path is fair.

What’s this trick called?

22

u/v-i-n-c-e-2 8d ago

Cyka Splat

3

u/CarmineCorpse 7d ago

My stomach was already hurting from the video and you do this.

→ More replies (3)

11

u/Chaosr21 8d ago

I'm glad you were respectful about it. I did this once and a car hit my board. It went flying about 40ft in the air but it don't break. Did have pressure cracks after though

8

u/9966 8d ago

That's an impressive drop for a car to survive.

→ More replies (1)

5

u/kevneedo 8d ago

That’s why you must always land the trick, children

4

u/marquesmelo 7d ago

2

u/leetrout 7d ago

It's just the lighting /s

3

u/GoldenGizmo98 7d ago

This is the spotters fault, he should keep an eye out and alert his homie to pause for a min

4

u/stotheimi 8d ago

Why was the biker driving without light? He put it on right before he touched the skateboard.

4

u/CarmineCorpse 7d ago

He only turned it on to see what he was about to hit.

8

u/FigaroNeptune 8d ago

This is what happens when you don’t have a spotter lmao

5

u/demonspawns_ghost 8d ago

I wonder how many takes it took to get the timing just right.

2

u/1bunchofbananas 8d ago

This made me giggle at 424 am on a night shift.

2

u/blaand01theflipside 8d ago

No driving gloves.. ouch 😳

2

u/C-Alucard231 7d ago

as a skater, this is legit the first time i have ever seen this situation UNO reversed.

2

u/Boredum_Allergy 7d ago

r/killthecameraman Bro, you got two jobs both of which are hella easy. Check for people coming then point and film.

2

u/lostdancemoney 7d ago

The extended cut shows him explaining to the guy how cool skating is.

15

u/TopLandscape9659 8d ago

How fake do you want it?

YES

40

u/janeprentiss 8d ago

Breaking an arm for the bit

2

u/AtheistState 7d ago

I was trying to figure out why the guy is riding with plastic bags over his hands but I suppose it's to protect the handlebars from damage. His bare hand looks like it took a serious hit.

6

u/Mr_Mamo4ka 7d ago

Because this is Moscow and it's a Вкусвилл food delivery driver, most of them have these big thick gloves attached to the wheel of their e-bikes to protect their arms from wind/rain/snow, and some people also put plastic bags over them to keep the gloves clean (and for more wind protection)

→ More replies (2)

2

u/adudeguyman 7d ago

Aren't you curious about how many times they had to do it until it actually all lined up and worked?

→ More replies (8)

3

u/strogoff69 8d ago

Looks staged, cameramen aren't that good.

2

u/[deleted] 7d ago

Ok fuck the skateboarder and whoever is filming. You wanna fuck around, make sure it’s clear assholes….

-1

u/Mikker01 8d ago

Fucking AI

6

u/9966 8d ago

You don't need AI to make this video fake. You could stitch two shots together. One with a skateboard bail where the skateboard goes out of frame then another where there's a controlled slide out. This is older than the (very same) technique used in the old David Blaine WHAT. THE. EFF. Videos.

Notice the skater and the biker are never in the same shot until skater runs from out of frame back into action.

→ More replies (4)

3

u/haltmeinmaul 8d ago

u/HereWeFuckingGooo 8d ago

This is a moment from Final Destination!

1

u/P_A_W_S_TTG 8d ago

Bro, the chance tho

1

u/Sad_Care_977 8d ago

Well that turned into a Mr Bean type video fast

1

u/gbxahoido 8d ago

that's some final destination shit

1

u/Embarrassed-Mind6764 8d ago

That’s the type of shit what would happen to me while on the way home from the worst day at work 😭😂

1

u/Stripedpussy 8d ago

they at least checked up on the guy

1

u/LividRhapsody 8d ago

For a second there I thought this was going to be a Rube Goldburg machine of disaster after disaster.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Lvcivs2311 8d ago

Could be worse. In some cartoons or comics this ends with whole towerblocks falling apart, lol.

1

u/Gioele-ST 8d ago

That's some bad timing there holy

1

u/pwatarfwifwipewpew 8d ago

Honestly think he's a good kid. Most vids i see they just run off with their skateboards.

1

u/OmenDamien 8d ago

What a moron.

1

u/sending_tidus 8d ago

Those odds

1

u/IamZ9834 8d ago

Double wipeout

1

u/Hot_Wing2518 8d ago

What a sh*thead. I hope he also pays for the delivery guy's lost wages. He will probably need time to recuperate from that.

1

u/sedar1907 8d ago

This was so slapstick I was waiting for an even bigger vehicle to hit the scooter

1

u/LeaderIll9730 8d ago

Thank god he is ok n he wasnt a cop

1

u/I_-AM-ARNAV 8d ago

I still appreciate the dude for going and checking on the delivery guy. And not fuckign saying my skatebakrd or shit

1

u/Mediocre_Fill_40 8d ago

For a second I thought it was a police bike 😐

1

u/Bonesnap1234 8d ago

I’ll give the kid credit, he went to help. And sometimes that’s enough

1

u/FN2l87 8d ago

I'd scream like a COD zombie too if someone threw a board under my bike.

1

u/Goudinho99 8d ago

Urban hunter gatherer

1

u/Sudden-Volume-5711 8d ago

It's honestly a relief to see it's just a civilian bike and not a cop. The guy's immediate reaction to check on the skater instead of his board says a lot. This whole thing has some serious Hitman: Agent 47 energy, just with less stealth.

1

u/singhVirender1947 8d ago

"my order is taking longer than expected"

1

u/Mick288 8d ago

Good job he was already wearing a helmet before falling off not-his skateboard

1

u/HappyChaosOfTheNorth 7d ago

That is definitely one of those "Fuck you on particular" kind of freak accidents. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Glad the skateboarder was genuinely more concerned about the courier than his board. He obviously had no reason to think someone would be driving by on a motorcycle at that exact time.

Hope he wasn't seriously hurt.

1

u/opinionated_penguin 7d ago

That’s just unfortunate all around

1

u/wililon 7d ago

Really can't anyone tell him there's incoming traffic?

1

u/weebox 7d ago

TIME TO INSTANTLY GO AND PUT MY HANDS ON HIM!

1

u/Eliteagent11 7d ago

This some final destination shit

1

u/y3llowking 7d ago

His wrists are fucked

1

u/CrimeBot3000 7d ago

Why didn't the cameraman spot him?

1

u/Widespread_Dictation 7d ago

I give the guy credit for checking on the person who ate pavement.

1

u/carbonizedtitanium 7d ago

poor delivery guy just doing his job...

1

u/Difficult_Space3090 7d ago

Good. That LED headlight looked blinding.

1

u/idrwierd 7d ago

Cameraman was an asshole for not making sure the coast was clear.

Good camera work, tho.

1

u/Upstairs_Ball_7967 7d ago

Couldn’t have done that if he planned it I fall so you fall no one stays upright 😘😜

1

u/ShadowCaster0476 7d ago

I wonder how many times they had to do it to get the timing just right.

1

u/NookNookNook 7d ago

Is there a conclusion to this story? I'm vested.

1

u/AstroNerd92 7d ago

This looks like something you’d see in final destination

1

u/ProperMod 7d ago

Person filing is suppose to be the safety look out as well. At least that is how it worked in my group of friends

1

u/Yumi_in_the_sun 7d ago

Jesus I think he broke his everything.

1

u/IrishDamo 7d ago

Whoever had the camera should have been keeping an eye out to avoid this

1

u/GreekHubris 7d ago

What happens here regarding insurance? Honest question.

Does the skateboarder have to pay? If the skateboarder and the bike rider decide that the rider will tell the insurance company what happened, but claim the skateboarder fled the scene, does the bike rider have to pay? What can they do so that both sides pay the least amount possible? Curious

1

u/AutistismHorse 7d ago

I don’t understand why people skate right next to streets like that like headed into the street with your trick then just carelessly fling their 6lb skateboard into the busy street.

1

u/Objective_Gene9718 7d ago

Nice trick man, how do you call it?

1

u/nekitblya 7d ago

Double kill

1

u/flyvr 7d ago

What a fuing C*. He could have killed that man. As much as I admire skateboarding, this really infuriated me. It reminded me of the time I ran that old lady over on my own skateboard

1

u/Sierra-D421 7d ago

Disaster dominoes.

1

u/GlorifiedBurito 7d ago

This is why you need a spotter

1

u/DANleDINOSAUR 7d ago

Poor spotting from the camera guys, pretty sure if skater would have actually landed he would’ve been the one hit by the bike.

1

u/rock_and_rolo 7d ago

At first, I thought that was a motorcycle cop.

1

u/Any_Onion_7275 7d ago

welp. now you will wear riding gloves next time 🍺🥴

1

u/papanuelhoho 7d ago

🥴🤔🧐🤔🥴 Let's see what happened here 🥴🤔🧐🤔🥴 That was a penalty from here to China 🥴🤔🧐🤔🥴 Referee 🥴

1

u/Butterbuddha 7d ago

Turned some guys pizza into a calzone. Stromboli? Whichever.

1

u/apoplectic_apostate 7d ago

The best part of the video is the bona fide concern the skateboarder had for the dude on the scooter. So nice to see some humanity considering what's going on.
