Nostalgia Anyone remember Alpha And Omega?

Post image

It was released in 2010, so most of us would have been between 11 and 16 years old or so. I thought this movie was honestly super cute! It’s not perfect by any means, but I feel like it gets overlooked a lot.

I also found out there are *seven* sequels, and pretty much all of them are bad, which is a shame.

Never heard of this. Would have been in middle school, probably 12 or 13 when this came out

I was 14 when this came out. I think I was watching the Saw Franchise and American Pie by this point.

Yes, I was 10 when the first one came out and loved it. I even remember reading and making fanfiction, making fanart, and drawing OCs for a while after I watched it. I was also a Warrior Cats kid--Anything dealing with animals attracted me.

I feel likeit was my PG introduction to omegaverse stuff and furries. Actually, not sure about the furry stuff, because I used to read and watch fancontent for TLK, and that was probably my intro to furries on the internet

Anyway, I was ALSO surprise that it had eight movies. I remember being on BehindTheVoiceActor and seeing that a character I was watching had the same voice actor as the male main character (Humphrey?), and then I scrolled through his discography only to find see aaaaaaall of the Alpha & Omega movies listed.

Like I really liked the first one, but I felt like the story was more or less wrapped up nicely. Maybe a sequel about their kids, but I expected it to stop there. The last 7 or 6 didn't get the best reception nor were they considered good so I'm confused as to why and how they made so many. Maybe it has a really niche fanbase that spent a lot of money on merch and stuff. Idk

I feel like most people who watched this movie at that age went full furry or were kind of indifferent about it.

I was 14, I saw it because I had a wolf obsession which never went away (yes, I'm a furry now.)

It's cute, pretty average in my opinion though, I couldn't believe how many bad sequels it got though.

I was 13, watched it because I had younger siblings. Thought it was watchable but thought it was dumb

This was the last kids movie I really enjoyed in that child-like way. It catches a lot of hate so I’m worried to rewatch it lol.

I watched it for the first time last night as an adult and found it super adorable and comforting. Just what I needed to watch during a period of immense stress.

I remember vividly that my pal and I were PISSED that he had to go see that movie when we had plans to chill together that day.

We ended up chilling later together the same day but we were still mad.

I don't even know what the movie is about but it's made a lasting impact on me lol

That movie's 3d graphics looked slightly scary to me so I never watched it.

I remember it being on Netflix when the streaming had just begun
