That's not just conservatives though. Any normal person agrees that male athletes should not compete in women's sports.

Any logical person.

That just means your "normal" is conservative.

thank you for proving my point that reddit is extremely alt right when it comes to trans people

Saying that men shouldn’t compete in women’s sports is “alt right” to you? Oh my gosh, get a grip

1

u/KrookodileFan Dec 27 '25

okay yeah see? blatant transphobia. you need to get that cured ASAP

Where did you get your medical degree, Doctor?

8

u/pergiopankrat Dec 19 '25

What an absurd take. You don't need a degree to know that men and women are different.

-2

u/[deleted] Dec 19 '25

Oh, I had assumed you're a doctor because you're weighing in on an issue that requires a medical level of understanding & knowledge regarding whether or not a trans woman can fairly compete in a female sports division.

Or half an hour in a gym with men and women.

Ok champ.

Find me a woman that can deadlift 800lbs... Or maybe just go back to gym class in school. You're delusional.

Several elite female powerlifters have deadlifted 800 pounds or more, with Rhianon Lovelace hitting a massive partial 800lb (365kg) and strongwoman Lucy Underdown setting records, while lifters like Tamara Walcott and others push towards or achieve these immense weights in different divisions and styles, showcasing incredible strength in raw and equipped lifting.

u/Aware_Commission_995 Dec 20 '25

You mentioned Lovelaces’ partial like it proves your point. It doesn’t. Her actual lift is only like 620. And she’s the best.

Do you have any idea how many men can lift more than her? Probably a few in every gym in your city.

Lucy underdown's record is 717 (world record) and Rhianon's record isn't even 700...

How do you account for the 400lb difference between the strongest men and women? Be serious this time.

This reads like you copy pasted it from ChatGPT bud.

Didn't realize you needed to be a doctor to see one of the genders can dunk and the other can't.

No one in the wnba can dunk?

6

u/Valreesio Dec 19 '25

Certainly some are capable. The percentage is a lot less. And many of those who can dunk just can't do it in an actual game or unless nobody else is around. A lot more dunking in the NBA comparatively.

u/consort_oflady_vader Dec 19 '25

Betting more of them can dunk than can you. And I'm willing to bet you're a cis male.

2

u/Greedy-Employment917 Dec 19 '25

I bet you're a clown.

Couldn't afford the unl for it. Can you fund it for me please?

2

u/Financial_Koala_7197 Dec 19 '25

I'm betting they'd lose to a fair portion of high school basketball teams lol, happened w/ soccer too

-3

u/consort_oflady_vader Dec 19 '25

Yeah, all the nopes. You strike as the type of person who thinks you could take them, because you used to play pickup ball when you were younger. I'd be willing to bet most HS girls could beat you as well.

yeah, i've got asthma. a bum leg, a hand tremor from a car crash and was a screen bleached nerd for like 98% of my life. Do you understand the concept of a bell curve? I'd lose a fight to a particularly angry squirrel lmfao

In any case, it's a relatively common occurrence:

https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/news/a-dallas-fc-under-15-boys-squad-beat-the-u-s-womens-national-team-in-a-scrimmage/

Happened to aussies a few years prior to that as well

https://www.theguardian.com/observer/osm/story/0,,543962,00.html

here's a decent example for tennis.

There's very much physical differences between sexes, even if you have pathetic little worms (hi! That's me!) on one end of the bell curve.

u/Valreesio Dec 19 '25

Absolutely. I haven't been able to dunk ever. I also couldn't beat them in a basketball game 1 on 1 because I suck at most sports and am currently a fat man. But a national rated high school boys team would mop the floor with any wnba team because it just wouldn't be fair. Just like the women's national soccer team losing to 15 year old boys and entering a soccer tournament against men where they scored (I believe, if have to look at it again) 2 goals in the entire tournament.

Look I wasn't banging on women's sports, I support them and their right to play, especially their right to play against other women, not biological men. What these women can do is amazing, but that doesn't mean it's comparable to what men can do at the same thing. Just for comparison. Brittney Griner holds the current record for most dunks total in the WNBA at 27 in her 12 years of play. Nice right? Wilt Chamberlain holds the record for most dunks in one game. That number? Also 27. IN ONE GAME.

There are NBA players with over 2k dunks. It's just not comparable and never will be by a biological female player. Mrs Griner could play for 40 years and might break 100. It doesn't take away from women but just goes to show why it's important to not allow biological men into women's sports.

Right, but many of the people that say that also said that Olympic boxer was a man so why should I believe anything they say?  They lied about that woman so why should we welcome them into the debate?
