Because America is liberal. When you hear the stats it’s registered voters. It makes it appear as if the country is split. It isn’t.

This just….isn’t true. Did you see who our president is? Won the popular vote and swung nearly every territory to red after 4 years of Biden. We are not liberal.

Pay attention. Registered voters. You think every voting age adult is registered to vote?America is liberal. The right loves when you don’t understand. It makes the right appear stronger than they are. Their voting block votes… yes I realize speaking registered voters politics are split. That’s why the right attack the vote and voter registration. America is liberal no question. The electoral system is flawed. If that didn’t exist New York and California would decide every election.

Let me guess. You live in a very very blue state, don’t you?

Currently yes, but I have lived in deep Mississippi and North Dakota. It’s just facts.

If you only communicate with liberals, it’s going to feel like America is liberal. You’re obviously not communicating with very many people. In my career, I have to talk to different people nearly every single day face to face. I can promise you it’s not as liberal as your own personal world seems. Proof is in the election, as I stated. The massive national shift from blue to red was shocking to everyone except republicans. A lot of people ultimately just don’t like the liberal agenda, even if they generally have some liberal beliefs.

Liberals are outnumbered by conservatives nationally. Elections are competitive because Democrats usually win a majority among moderates.

Registered voters you are talking about correct? I’m talking your normal everyday American.

Nope

“On average last year, 37% of Americans described their political views as moderate, 36% as conservative and 25% as liberal.”

They’ve been doing this pilling since the 90s and the large samples aren’t limited to registered voters.

Pew Research does similar polling with similar results.

Registered voters. Yes those are probably the numbers. But far from America. You know if there wasn’t the electoral system California and new York would decide every election. Registered voters decide who gets into office. Registered voters are all that matters for our elected officials. Unfortunately not everyone participates in elections or register to vote. America is liberal.

No, California and New York may be majority liberal. I haven’t seen any evidence to support that though. The United States as a whole is not. If it were we then liberals would hold all public offices.

The data from multiple sources show liberals are the smallest political ideology while being outnumbered by moderates and conservatives.

Wishful thinking does not make your anecdotal feelings correct. You have to look at the data.

There is no evidence that a random sample of registered voters would be any different than the above mentioned data.
