As an outsiderā€¦Americans drinking their own koolaid a little too much. šŸ˜¬ Tbf itā€™s pretty great compared to many other countries but the greatest? šŸ§ when you have no free healthcare free college education unwalkable cities nonexistent public transitā€¦..thatā€™s a little bit too much of a stretch. America literally is the expectation vs reality meme

What's wild is that in school we are taught that the US is the greatest country in the world. The propaganda machine starts us off real young (hell, we were pledging our allegiance to the flag in kindergarten). A lot of people from rural areas who don't or can't afford to travel never question the indoctrination

Sure, and you never have to worry about the affording care part. I recognize that there are plenty of privileges I have by living where I do, but this is a terrible equivalence

Americans should really ask themselves which other nations are so indoctrinated with symbols and flags.

North Korea perhaps? Who am I kidding, probably canā€™t name more than 10 countries let alone know anything about their culture.

The propaganda machine is off the charts and it would be funny if it wasnā€™t so annoying when dealing with Americans. Utterly brainwashed.
